“An old historic hotel in the Old Town centre with walking distance to many Laval attractions”

This hotel is historic, and has a quirky interesting collection of vintage decor items throughout it. It has a very different feel to it (unlike a lot of bland hotels).. The owner is very helpful and friendly and has interesting conversations, and is kindly speaking english, due to my poor french. There is much to see in the historic centre of Laval, and the hotel is walking distance to most of that. The breakfast was very good.

“Eccentric location”

This is a very personal hotel filled with the proceeds of flea markets some of which was quite fun. Room was fine in its own way. Did not have breakfast. Car parking was easy.

Excellent location. Nice, big breakfast. Interesting interior, with different themes for each room. Mine was a doctor's office.

“would not stay their again”

this was over priced the breakfast expensive and very meager, In other hotels on my trip I paid less for a bigger more comfortable room with air con and a evening meal and breakfast. The only ventilation was to open a window onto a noisy street the room was cramp and the bathroom very small.

Auberges des Remparts is quite a unique hotel, not your average chain stay. It's interior design is is one a kind, eg. the lobby has the feel of a past era, not defined by one specific but a mix of several early and mid-20th century ones. My room on the other hand was clearly a retro room in the style of the late 60s and early 70s. I appreciate the helpfulness and kindness of what I believe to be the owner. He was making sure the guests got answers to their questions, I certainly had a few.

Great location. Walking distance to centre, very reasonable rate car park across the road, comfy bed & great shower !

I was too late for breakfast at 9.20 - I couldn't easily find info. about when breakfast is served.

Really pleasant owner. Quite an extraordinary ambience with fantastic props pictures and artefacts. Unmissable. ! Super breakfast too
