Overview
The charming, historic and family-run Hotel Oberland in the centre of Lauterbrunnen is only a 5-minute walk away from the train station. The Staubbach waterfall is nearby. Hotel Oberland's popular restaurant serves cheese fondue or Röstis. All rooms come with cable TV. Most also comprise a balcony with views of the waterfall or the surrounding mountains. Lauterbrunnen is a popular place to visit all year round. Some parking spaces are available in front of the hotel for 10 CHF per day and these are subject to availability. Otherwise public parking is available beside the church for an hourly fee.

“A sad last return to Hotel Oberland………”
Hotel Oberland is in a wonderful position. The view from our balcony at the front of the hotel was breathtaking. The staff were friendly, and when asked a question, were very willing to help. We had two meals in the restaurant during our 7 night stay, and the Oberland fondue was really good. The continental breakfasts were good, not a huge amount of choice, but what was there, was good.

My stay at Hotel Oberland was absolutely unforgettable mainly because of the breathtaking view. The room itself was very modern, clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay with spectacular views and a memorable atmosphere.
