When I called before my arrival, it turned out the accommodation was no longer operating. The owner claimed they had closed their listing on Booking.com a long time ago, yet bookings were still being accepted. Booking.com repeatedly responded with automated messages and, contrary to their promise, didn’t get in touch with me or resolve the issue. A confusing and unacceptable attitude from Booking.com.
