House with sauna was amazing. I was there during winter and it was very cosy. You can feel the old atmosphere where there was no rush. There are electric wall heaters but you can also use a fireplace or tiled stove. The roads are cleared of snow on an ongoing basis

That's it. There you want to live and probably die to. Monty Pythons sang, Finland has it all. Hmmm, no. Laugu Resort has it all. All. We went there, we extended, we didnt want to leave. Why? Nature. Peace. Great place to embrace your wife. Lovely breakfast, heartbreaking dinner. A place to learn, if you are able to speak. A place to lean, if you are able to slow down. A place to love, if you open your mind and a place to have a bloody good talk to Mr. Uku (if you are prepared). I have been nearly all around the world. I never hit a place and 2 people like this. Btw. I love their rooms, they built, the bathroom, the beds, the doors, the windows:-) forget about these guys, who complain about mosquitos and stairs... Its nature, guys, nature and the best 2 humans making it available for you and me. Thank yOu

Was able to use the washing machine flexibly. Very clean and quiet. Very good breakfast.

- Nice location - Has an outside area for kids to play in - Mosquito nets in front of the windows so you can keep the windows open during the summer - Curtains in front of the windows so the summer sun wont wake you up too early - Our room/apartment had all the necessities including quite a large shower area

Perfect location, in nature, not far from the sea. Former farm converted into small resort. Very pleasant and helpful owner explaining the history of the farm and the island. Rich and tasteful breakfast from local ingredients. We also ordered dinner consisting of traditional local food. It was great, each course described.

“Nice place to stay”

Nice place surrounded by woods. Clean and big family rooms with all needed for stay for either 1 or several nights. Very helpful and friendly host.

We travelled on motorbikes and found the place more or less by chance. It was a big surprise for us how nice it looked inside the complex. A beautifully and sensitively restored historic farmhouse so that the spirit of the place is preserved even with maximum comfort for guests. The owner was very kind, helped us with everything. We had our motorbikes right by the cottage inside the area. The English communication was absolutely perfect. We also arranged with the owner for a sauna, which we really enjoyed, because especially after a long motorbike trip such relaxation comes in handy. There is outdoor seating, grill. Then in the morning, a wonderful breakfast made with fresh ingredients. Just amazing, maximum satisfaction.

We were met by the owner Uku when we arrived who showed us around the site and our appartment. A secluded site not far from the coast and pleasant walks in the countryside. We had an evening meal on site one night and had some great local food (sorrell soup, onion pie and flounder). We also had an afternoon meal at the local tavern Sassimaja Ou in Liesi which was great and very good value along with some delicious Saaremaa craft beer.

“Unusual place - in a good way”

Quaint, quiet, peaceful and green. The lovely dinner and breakfast cooked by the owners - make certain to ask for it at the time of booking, as they need a minimum of five hours lead time. The tips we got from the owner to spend a day on Saaremaa, the lovely island Laugu is on.

We traveled by 3 persons and took a large room with several rooms. It was amazing and really alot of room. The host was so kind that even started the private sauna for us. We really enjoyed the stay and probably gonna visit again next time. Highly reccomend!

“Great farm stay in an idyllic location”

The hosts were exceptionally hospitable as they were waiting for us among the dense swarm of mozzies, unphased. The rooms are practical and comfortable. I would recommend anyone to buy their breakfast as the spread is just amazing. The location is conveniently close to the Triigi port if you're going/coming that way and don't fancy a long drive to/from Kuressaare. It's also surrounded by woods and is so quiet.

It was a really nice stay and we would have loved to stay longer. It's a quiet area, perfect to relax. The room was very nice, clean and good equipped. Everyone of the host family was extremely nice and helpful. As a dinner we got local dishes and for breakfast we didn't missed a thing. All in all: perfect.
