Perfect place to stay when exploring the Myvatn area, Aldeyjarfoss and Godafoss. Clean and well equipped apartment, only 20 minutes from the lake.

A very clean, well-equipped and well presented apartment. It was easy to find, quiet and cosy. We enjoyed the freedom of self-catering and appreciated the supplies of tea, coffee, condiments, etc. The little store up the road was useful and convenient, as was the restaurant and petrol station. Our host was great at communicating everything we needed.

Clean and conveniently located apartment with good facilities. Free entry to the local pool was appreciated. Super efficient heating system .

Great location. Comfortable beds, unlimited geothermal heating. The washing machine was super useful to freshen up our used socks and other clothes. Self check in. Self check out late, at 12. Everything was spotless clean. Very well equipped kitchen, including an oven.

“Cozy and quiet apartment”

The apartment had everything we needed: the kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a washing machine. The bed was comfortable and the location is quiet. There were some cute birds outside ❤️ Unfortunately we didn’t had time to use the free access to the pool nearby :( The location is very close to the Godafoss waterfall (15 minutes by car) and Myatvn (30 min by car)

“Cosy apartment in good location.”

A good budget option as Iceland is expensive. Good location in the small village and lovely swimming pool with two complimentary tickets thrown in. The apartment was clean and comfy and had everything we needed. We wanted to see the northern lights so chose the location as it looked a small place. We only had to go a short distance to be clear of the street lights to see the ‘show’. There used to be a nice family restaurant you can walk to for pizza, proper beef burgers and meat soup. We needed a tin opener so emailed to see if we could borrow one if the owner was local and Kristen arrived at our door 5 minutes later with said item…impressed!

Location, homely feel

The kitchen was greatly stuffed and there were nice messages and tips for the surrounding area. Also the owners were really nice and very responsive to messages.

Nice little apartment with everything you need. We cooked partly ourselves and the kitchen was sufficiently well equipped for this. Everything was clean, the beds very comfortable and the check-in went smoothly via the key box. One minor consideration is the absence of total window blackout capabilities. However, this proved to be a negligible concern, as it barely affected our sleep. We recommend the accommodation in any case.

We loved everything about it. Clean, modern, cozy and well equiped. Check-In and Out were very easy.

We have been staying in cottages all over Iceland which has been great but it was lovely to stay somewhere with more space. The apartment was very well appointed, designed and decorated. It was very warm and had lots of useful information on the apartment and surrounding attractions. The apartment was easy driving distance to Lake Myvatn, we had a great stay and recommend this apartment without hesitation.
