Having dinner with such a stunning view has been priceless: the golden light of the midnight sun, the million colours of the flowers in the terrace, everything was so lovely! Our double room was cozy and warm and it had also a private sink, which was much appreciated - even though the shared bathroom was always clean and available. In addition, the hosts are very welcoming, ready to answer to any Icelandic curiosity

Renovated place, very clean, cozy, comfortable. We saw amazing aurora here. Good breakfast. There are not many rooms so it doesn't feel overcrowded even with a shared bathroom. many places to see around. You can not cook there but you can cook at nearby camping. And was glad to wash the clothes.

The owners were very friendly and welcomed us personally and showed us around. We also appreciated the included breakfast buffet and the possibility to use the fridge and some kitchen appliances for a warm meal after a long day.

It was in a nice rural area. It was very clean and the host was nice and helpful. The bedding was excellent.

Amazing host, very friendly and welcoming. Adalsteinn showed us around when we came, explained everything and the next morning prepared a great breakfast for us, including home-grown tomatoes which were superb :) We really appreciated his approach and it made a huge difference for us (a chocolate on the pillow was also a huge advantage :D ). The breakfast is tasty and you have many options to choose from. There is a very pleasant dinig hall with a nice view. We also really liked that Adalsteinn recycles the waste which we normally take for granted, however, this was the first accommodation in Iceland that did so.

Great room in a beautiful location. The host was very friendly and helpful, our favourite of the whole two week trip! The value for money was unbeatable considering that the price included a small, nice breakfast. We'll definitely book a room here again, if we ever visit this part of Iceland again!
