“February stay”

The apartment was spotlessly clean and had all the things we needed, there was a good selection of pots and pans for cooking and the beds and bedding were comfortable. There was a washing machine and dryer available in a laundry room which was really handy. The location was great, perfect for trips to Husavik, Akureyri and Myvatn and the swimming baths down the road are excellent and there were lovely views from the apartment. If you need to be back to Akureyri for the airport I would recommend keeping an eye on the weather if you're there like we were in winter, I noticed snow gates on the road so if the weather is bad they must close it, it does go over a substantial set of hills. No problems when we visited though.

Rooms: Two bedrooms for four people, plus a large pull-out sofa bed that’s genuinely comfortable, with enough sheets and duvets — the best sofa bed we slept on during our trip. Bathroom: Comes with a washing machine and local Icelandic-brand toiletries. Kitchen: Spacious countertop facing green fields, fully equipped with all necessary tools. Heating works perfectly throughout; the scenery is beautiful, and the balcony is great for stargazing or watching the northern lights.

Excellent stay.Well equipped kitchen , Beautiful location and calm surroundings with viking horses around. We had no regrets or neither any problem. We also had an opportunity to witness a gigantic aurora storm from this location. Also the godafoss waterfalls is a 15 min drive from this location.

The location was just perfect and we were all sorry that we couldn't stay longer. The apartment is nice and cozy, small but has everything you need. We loved the bathroom and the beds were really comfortable, the sheets clean. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice modern place, in a peaceful farm. Great location for many activities between myvatn, husavik and akureyri. Kitchen and room are well equipped and maintained, with all needed for staying comfortably few days, for cooking and laundry. Also host is great.

Very bright, clean and cosy apartment with well well-equipped kitchen. The use of the washing machine and dryer helped us as we have been on the road for the last 10 days. The apartment is situated in a very accessible location.
