“Was ok because we where focussed on day trips to siena and florence”

Very nice owners also prepared breakfast and dinner per request. The beds are ok but look very old and used making it a bit uncomfortable and does not look clean. The village itself was like abandoned. Only one restaurant, no nice place to have a drink

“Tuscany views to die for.”

Location in a small commune with a small grocer's shop 20 paces from our door. The host assisted us at every opportunity. The Tuscany views more than lived up to what we had hoped.

“Great place to visit for a few days”

The village wS built in the 1200’s so had lots of atmosphere. Tiny little narrow roads so small car a necessity. The views were lovely as the village was high up overlooking fields and the lower towns and out to the mountains. Very few shops. Rita and Riccardo can provide you with breakfast and dinner if required. We had 3 dinners that were amazing!

“Perfect relaxing stay”

This was a perfect Tuscan stay away from the big cities. Definitely need a car to reach but it feels like a home away from home. Host is lovely and although she only spoke Italian and we only spoke English, nothing was a problem. Beautiful, authentic stay.

“The heart of Toscany.”

I wouldn't write anything. Why? So that in the future this house would be just for me! The heart of Tuscany. If you have watched this film about the writer and dream to visit Tuscany this is the best place to do it! Right in the centre of the town, narrow streets, charming café of the owners, restaurants, friendly and smiling inhabitants. The flat itself has everything-kitchen, wifi, shower with window on the surroundings.... Note that by car you have a similar driving time from here to the thermal baths of Saturnia, San Marino or even Rome, and Arezzo, the aforementioned Cortona, Siena or Florence is very close. Rita and Richard are very caring and you have their support at all times. I sincerely recommend and will definitely return here!

Style

The place looks exactly as it is at the pictures - marvelous house in the middle of old town. The town itself is an awesome place to have a chill day. We loved breakfasts at Ricardo&Rita's place. Very helpful and friendly owners, I can recommend the spot to anyone!

“Home away from home in Tuscany.”

Authentic Tuscan accommodation while enjoying te spoils of what Tuscany has to offer. The location in a true hill top town offers great views and a true Tuscan experience albeit in a less touristy area. The owner also runs the local restaurant where great Tuscan food in an uncompromising style can be enjoyed. Ricardo and Rita are gracious hosts and as non English speaking still provide a warm reception and authentic friendship for that home away from home feeling. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

Very nice owners, helpful and very friendly, with a place to eat and drink. Beautiful Tuscan style house, silent, historic and beautiful town for walks, breathtaking views... internet working in the café (not always directly in the house) but it was a really unbeatable price for the quality and beauty of accommodation. Plan to stay again longer if we are in that area.
