For the undemanding traveler, it is a convenient location for an overnight stay close to the airport. Cheap and a good bed.

🇹🇭 ☆☆☆☆☆ 🇹🇭 After arriving from Vietnam and suddenly realizing that I had forgotten one of my suitcases in Bangkok I had no choice but to make an unexpected stop before continuing my journey. What was supposed to be a quick transit suddenly became a stressful late night mission to recover my luggage before moving on again. After several frustrating delays my flight finally landed at BKK Airport at 01:34 in the middle of the night and at that point I was completely exhausted both physically and mentally. The only thing I wanted was sleep. There was absolutely no chance I had the energy to travel all the way into central Bangkok after such a long and tiring journey so I started searching for the highest rated place close to the airport where I could rest for a few hours before dealing with everything the next morning. That decision led me to Happy Home Hostel and honestly I could not have made a better choice. I literally threw myself into a BOLT taxi and hoped that all the amazing reviews talking about late night hospitality and incredible service were true. Around seven minutes later I arrived outside the hostel rang the bell and within moments the door opened. Standing there was one of the friendliest hosts I have met during my eight months of traveling around the world. He greeted me with the biggest smile and said with genuine happiness “Welcome to HAPPY HOME Hostel.” At that moment all the stress from the delays the forgotten suitcase and the exhausting journey instantly disappeared. We both laughed together for a few minutes and despite the fact that it was the middle of the night I immediately felt relaxed safe and welcome. The kindness shown to me from the very first second was honestly unforgettable. After our short conversation I was handed an ice cold bottle of water which felt absolutely amazing after traveling for so many hours.

The location is great for a stopover near the airport, just a 10-12 minutes drive away. The place was spotlessly clean, including the shared facilities, the ac and wifi worked well. But more than all, the owners were welcoming, caring and kind, offering great service. They provided us with water bottles and our kids with snacks, helped with our luggage, flagging down the taxi etc. We felt very welcome.

I never write reviews on here but this one definitely deserved one, the hostel is completely functional with a guide of local attractions. This is the perfect place for a layover near the airport. I checked in at 1am and had my room prepared, with all amenities provided and was exceptionally functional, and cozy. It’s worth the money with distance to the airport for a good recharge.

Great stay for one night before a flight. The hosts are lovely kind people. The airport pick up and drop off was very good. It’s about a 10 min drive to the airport. The location is on a main road. There is a 7/11 nearby. Rooms are clean and comfortable and a good size. They gave me free water. Kettle to make hot drinks. They provide ear plugs due to the location being on the main road.

The staff was so nice! Everything was spotless clean! We had only one night in bangkok with my thai friend in this hostel, but we really liked it! Had a good night sleep! Only thing, that it was quite hard to spot from the street. And thank you for so friendly check out middle of the night!
