“Poggio Pozzetti”

Everything was perfect, even exceed my expectations. The rooms, the pool, the nature around the place – just great.

It’s a really beautiful and comfortable place for a family getaway (our son loved the animals and the playground). The view from our little garden/terrace was amazing. The staff is extremely nice. We really appreciated the nice touches such as the possibility to order bread and pastries for the following morning or the little shop where you could buy olive oil made by the owners.

Very nice house and area with lots of animals that the kids visited daily. Lovely and helpful staff and very nice appartement with wonderful shower. Good outdoor patio with BBQ facilities we took advantage of. Would recommend staying there if you visit Cefalù and surroundings.

Well, one of our favorte places in all Sicily. The location and environment was perfect.. Nature and mountain with sea view. The house, the private terrace for meals, the pool, all perfect for a different Sicily experience. It even as a small grocery shop for self service (cooking and breakfast supplies). I hope we return someday

“Wonderful stay”

We had a lovely room with great view. It was very comfortable, and the apartment had all the basics needed. The pool area was very nice, with a lovely view. It was great to have a little shop for buying bread, croissants, wine, oil, and eggs. Giuseppe, the host and caretaker, was kind and helpful. He was wonderful. It would be amazing if the owners added a restaurant for dinner. That way, it would be a great alternative to cooking each night, or leaving the property. Nonetheless, there is a Conad superstore and Eurospin supermarket with everything you need, within a 15-minute drive. The final kilometer to the property was rough and could use upgrading. In sum, we have stayed on many agriturismo properties in Italy, and this was definitely a favorite! I wish we could have stayed longer.

Spectacular views, exceptionally kind hosts, and perfect serenity. The comfort and quietness made our stay truly special. Plus, the generous treats left by the owners were a delightful surprise. Highly recommend this gem! As for the road to the property, this is not so difficult and the remoteness of the place makes it one of the quietest places we have enjoyed in our holidays... and we are people actively searching for quiet places everywhere... so perfect & quiet.

“Very beautiful rural getaway”

The property is exactly as it appears in the pictures, extremely picturesque and isolated. It is about a ten minute drive from supermarkets though so you have access to food and drink. We arrived late and found a welcome basket with water and other bits which was a really nice touch.

We had an amazing stay at Poggio Pozetti. It’s a beautiful, well-maintained compound with a great pool for a refreshing swim. Giuseppe is very kind and you can pre-order bread the little shop, or buy some snacks/wine. Would love to return one day!

“Peace and quite surrounded by the most stunning views”

Poggio Pozzetti is probably the most idyllic place we have ever stayed. Exactly what we'd been looking for as part of a longer stay. Starting with this stunning argriturismo in the mountains followed by an apartment on the beach in Calabria, then back to Taormina for a luxury town stay before finishing of in a b&b in Zaffarena. Four different types of experiences for the family. We were close to everything we needed. Car rental is a must if considering staying here as there is so much exploring to do. Lots of towns close by to go and visit. Our accommodation at Poggio Pozzetti was spotless, it had everything we needed. Luckily we had the room on the end which has views all round with a spacious front balcony and a small rear one attached to the main bedroom. Pool was spotless and we had it to ourselves for most of the stay. The added bonus of the farm animals and Paco the dog kept our youngest happy. Yes, the road leading up to the accommodation is quite rugged but why people put this down as a negative is beyond me. You know before you book by reading past reviews so why moan? It's in the mountains so it's part of the parcel. Small shop on site where you can order fresh bread, croissants etc Couldn't be any more perfect x
