Beautiful spot, as usual, in las terrenas. We loved the beach and the pool, and our first night's dinner was delicious. The staff at the reception were friendly and relax. The bartender lady was lovely. They have these sweet dogs that come for food and are just adorable.

“Rustic hotel, beautiful grounds and location, rather isolated”
The beach location is beautiful--suitable for walking and surfing; families were also playing along the shore, but it's a little more rough than other beaches around Las Terrenas. The location is quiet and they have done nice landscaping on the grounds. Staff was out every day sweeping up fallen leaves and tending to the common areas. The location feels more "authentic" than some of the cookie-cutter hotels run by chains. The staff members were all friendly and tried to accommodate guests who spoke a variety of languages. (We met folks from Finland, Norway, Switzerland, Argentina, Spain, Peru, and the US.) The bed was comfortable and bedrooms were air conditioned. There is a small market (Mini Mercado Coson) about a block up the street, where we purchased beer and rented a buggy. There are several areas with chaise lounges or tables and chairs so that small groups can sit outside in the shade. Servers from the bar are attentive, but not bothersome. On Sundays, it seems as if local residents may come to enjoy the beach/pool/grounds and bar/restaurant area. It was pleasant to see families and kids playing. Although the beaches and roadsides are littered with all kinds of trash and plastic, we were pleased to learn that Las Terrenas now has garbage pick-up and hopefully there's a trend toward restoring/maintaining the natural beauty.

The beach was fabulous!! A very nice place to relax directly on the beach. The food was delicious and the staff was really helpful and friendly. Very beautiful common area by the pool, beach and bar.

“Amazing hotel, amazing beach and amazing view!”
When we arrived we got a room in the garden of the back of the hotel but we got an upgrade to the colonial suite and this was absolutely amazing with sea view! The first two nights were a little noisy because of barking dogs so during the second night we send the dogs away and the rest of the stay is was quiet. Breakfast was good. The guys from the reception and the guy from the restaurant where very helpful and friendly. The girls from breakfast where not friendly, it had to go on their way, not flexibel at all. It was just for breakfast so we dealed with that ;-)

“WONDERFUL ACCOMMODATION, BUT CHECK WARDROBES CAREFULLY BEFORE LEAVING”
Casa Coson was the best accommodation I found in Las Terrenas. The room was excellent, clean and comfortable. The beach is absolutely wonderful: wild, natural, and feels almost private, which is increasingly rare in Las Terrenas. The breakfast was very good with fresh, quality offerings each morning.

“Excellent”
Everything was great. I came back twice. Very friendly staff. Especially Zach from the reception made me feel very wellcomed and was very attentive. The place is very quiet. The beach is very beautiful. The area is very safe and well protected. The rooms have oceansea view and quiet. The massage therapist Xiomy was excellent!
