“Best place in Las Peñitas”

Amazing Host, super friendly and informative. He gave us a free upgrade to a nicer Room. We liked the location a lot as it was super quite and directly in the middle between Las Peñitas and Poneloya. He also offers to use the water fountain and the money he makes from it goes directly to charity which we liked a lot. Thanks mate

I literally only stayed for a few hours as I was only looking for a place to sleep. It was conveniently located next to the highway, so the access to the bus that goes to Leon is good. Fair value for mpney. Clean room.

“Great budget quiet and comfortable stay”

It was super quiet at night time,booked the small double room but it was comfy and had a mosquito net, wasn’t too hot at night time with the fans, nice hammocks and chill area, also the shower was good! Bus drops you off right outside and you can get it back from there too.

“Perfect hideaway, 5 minutes from the beach”

5 minutes from the beach. Tucked away and very quiet at night . Unlike the beach front hostels where the music plays all night and sleep is impossible.

Super chill hostel, very relaxing. Patrick cooked us an awesome breakfast.

I had trouble locating the place, so I decided to rent at a different location. The address is difficult to find unless you're familiar with the area, which could be an advantage. Additionally, the directions provided were not clearly stated. Overall, I believe I should not be charged for this inconvenience.

“Very pleasant and relaxing stay”

We were there as a couple and stayed in one of the private cabañas. We really enjoyed our stay, despite the heat we slept pretty well. The bed is confortable and has a nice mosquito net. We felt welcomed and appreciated the chilled family vibe of the place, it is also quiet and the internet works well if you need to do a bit of work. The kitchen is also well equipped if you like to cook. You do need to walk a bit to go to the beach but you can also rent bikes :) If you have a mean of transportation (we had a moto), it is also super easy to go explore and spend the day in Leon !

“Comfortable stay, strange mood”

The hostel is right next to the bus stop so that’s easy. It is about a 15min walk to the beach though, so you are missing out a bit on the view and the breeze. The hostel has a nice kitchen and chill out area and the rooms all have mosquito nets (thank god) & the staff (Johanna) was absolutely lovely.

“A Relaxing Escape From Leon.”

Dorms are large and clean with ensuite washroom and shower. Kitchen to use is well equipped and clean. Common area with tables and hammocks. Quiet area of town. 5 min walk to either of the beaches. Bicycles available for use to explore the area. Shops nearby carry basic groceries, if you want anything special stock up in Leon ahead of time. Restaurants within walking distance if you don't feel like cooking. The owners are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area, where to rent a good surfboard and spots to surf. They are always willing to help out with anything you need to make your stay the best. Fluent in English , French and Spanish. Gaston the dog is the best. He's extremely chill and friendly.

All perfect. Great place to spend a few days in this quiet location that is Peñitas. The owner is friendly and helpful and great place to meet other travelers

Nice hut and facilities for a stay in LP. Not directly on the beach but you can rent bikes, which makes getting around really easy.

“Wonderful!”

Splendid! Bungalow are made with so much style, very tiny detail is thought of. Peace and quiete only 5 min walk from an amazing Beach.

The hostel was very simple and totally met our expectations. We had could have a beach under 10min walk and a tiny convenient store. Moreover the bus station was just in front of the housing so easy to get there and go back to a main city. Yes there are mosquitoes due to the climate of the region, But the bed were equipped with nets. I recommend to bring some repellent and it will be okay.

The property was very clean with great hosts who were friendly and helpful. We felt safe and the atmosphere was jolly and relaxed. We only wished we could have stayed longer. Basic supplies are provided at the property at very reasonable costs.

the bedrooms were comfy and secure, everything was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. it’s a little walk from the beach and town itself but that’s nice if you’re looking for a more relaxed stay
