Depending on the season you might be nearly alone out here - if you're looking for a chill remote beautiful (!) beach, it won't get any better than this!

“This place gives you the Best Feeling I’ve had while teaching”

Matt is simply fantastic. He’s built the whole place himself which gives you a ‘homey’ feeling. He’s helping the neighbouring families, listens to their stories and tries to be there for them if he can. He also understands his bartending job very well, knows his customers’ musical preferences, sees right through you if you need a ‘talk’ or knows to leave you on you own when you need some time off. The place is also perfect for a nice party with just good vibes, you can drink at the bar, lie in a hammock or take a nightly swim in the ocean, which is really only 10meters away. I was in the low-season and can totally recommend going here when traveling between Boquete and Santa Catalina. I had the beach and dorm all by myself, walked nightstrolls to find hatching turtles on the beach (completely safe to walk alone) and the waves are perfect for surfing and bodyboarding. I felt at home, which is the best feeling while traveling for a long time. Just take that goddamn detour, and you’ll be rewarded! 😉For this price, you can’t get anything as close in Panama.

No breakfast included, but a kitchen to cook your own food. Location is on a 14km long beach. Can be quiet, can be party at night… Mat (the owner) is truly a great person, worth knowing… but just bring your good spirit and positiveness!

Really cool place to chill, with the beach just in front. Matt and the team are making the place special with à good vibe The dorm was confortable and the kitchen is well equiped. You can even rent surfboards for a session right next door !

Banging beach front location, the cabin we stayed in was lovely, the pictures don't do it justice as it was much nicer in person then we expected from the pictures. Nice bar and the staff and owner/manager are really cool and friendly people 👌
