We had a wonderful experience in Las Galeras, and a big part of it was thanks to Dario, an exceptional host who made our stay truly special. From the very first moment, he welcomed us warmly and ensured that we had everything we needed to feel at home. The accommodation he provided was simply perfect: spacious, clean, comfortable, and set in a breathtaking natural environment. The area is peaceful and far from mass tourism, making it not only beautiful but also incredibly pleasant. It was the ideal retreat to relax after spending our days exploring the stunning beaches nearby. Dario didn’t just offer us the best possible conditions for our stay—he constantly made sure we had great recommendations on how to make the most of our time in Las Galeras. Thanks to his guidance, we discovered hidden gems and explored some of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic. The excursions he suggested were spectacular, taking us to breathtaking locations we would have never found on our own. His kindness, availability, and passion for the place made our experience even more authentic and unforgettable. It’s rare to find a host so attentive and caring! We spent a great time in Villa la Caleta. Dario is a very kind host, he shared with us a lot of useful information, the place has everything you might need during your stay. The surrounding is calm and beautiful. If you are looking for a rest it will be a perfect choice.

Dario, the owner, is great, he gave us many tips about the area, he is very patient and welcoming. We also had dinner in his little restaurant. Very tasty! The apartment is big and very clean, maybe a bit oldish, but it has everything you need. We were by car, so the location was perfect for us, very quiet area at night and super close to a pretty and clean beach. A lovely place! They don't offer breakfast, but you can have it at another location next door.

Great location. There is silence around the place, you can hear the sound of the sea. It’s the best place to visit alone or with company. Dario, the owner of the Villa La Caleta, is very nice and helpful.

Dario was an an absolutely exceptional host. He could not have been kinder or more helpful. He also took the time to give lots of good advice. We feel like we left with a new friend. The accommodation was very suitable for three. The location is very quiet, the garden is refreshing, and the beach is very close. Really good value

The location itself is perfect, quiet, lovely beach with white sand in walking distance. Very peaceful.

“Pretty location, but run-down apartment”

The location is good. A very beautiful beach only ~400 metres from the house, another beach maybe 100 metres away. The area is quiet. You are away from any crowds. But: you need a car to get here - or you have to walk for around 25 mins from Las Galeras downtown.

The area is very quiet. and peaceful. The beach is terrific and a 5 minute walk. The host is eager to help and readily available. Everything is secure and private.
