“Wonderful place to stay.”

This place and it's owner offer truly valuable experience, it is very quiet, clean and comfortable. Very close to the nature, snorkeling beach, horses. Owner is very communicative, helpful, open-minded person. I can highly recommend the breakfast. If you don't like all inclusive monsters and want to place that has 'soul' it is for you. We'd love to get back to this place.

One of the best stays I had in recent years! + Location right next to the ocean and very quiet during the day and the night + Super friendly host from Germany, had some nice talks and he was always helpful (one day I stepped on a sea urchin and he helped me to remove it) + Comfortable bed and room with AC + Super tasty breakfast with so much food that I never needed lunch Hopefully I'll make it back to Las Galeras and Casa Azul in the near future!

We were on a honeymoon and they surprised us with flowers decoration on the bed which was nice. The place is very close to the beach. We took the breakfast for 10$ pp and it was outstanding and worth every cent, there was plenty of food and it was very delicious! The host speaks a good English. He was very nice and explained all the places we can visit and travel around Las Galeras.

Great location: beautiful area next to a great beach and within easy walking distance to town center and restaurants. Helpful, friendly staff that serve terrific breakfast and drinks at night.

Amazing hotel in Las Galeras, comfy rooms and close to the beach. The owner is very friendly, helpful and has many great recommendations. As already mentioned by others: outstanding breakfast!

We felt there like in our home ☺️ Furniture is very nice and bed is very big and soo comfortable we sleeped so well. Everything was super clean, they have cleaner who cleans everyday, she is perfect. She cleans also the floor. She also washed our clothes, dried them. She even put them together like my mum ☺️ so when we came we found everything prepared on bed, it was so cute ! Also breakfast is soo good, you will eat only dinner after that ☺️ and it was very tasty - lots of local fruit also eggs and pancakes. Las Galeras is such a good place to spend vacation. I reccoment it so much! Its totally safe, quiet place which is very rare for dominican republic sometimes 😅 Even drivers drive normal so i recommend to rent a car or scooter there ! Its totally safe:) I recommend to go snorkeling in local Aquarium - we were 3 times ! Its safe and lots of corals and fishs are there, also i recommend horse riding with Dominica. I gave her number to owner of Casa Azul so you can also reach to her :) Owner is very sweet man, we talked a lot about everything and he was helpful with finding trips for us . :) We will deffinitely come back to Las Galeras and to Casa Azul. Great place to stay in Las Galeras. it’s close to beaches (there is 1 in front of the place but you can walk to the more famous ones), you can hear the sea from the room. The place itself is clean, cosy, double bed is really a king’s size. What we liked the most is the owner’s approach. He’s fluent in English, very nice and friendly person, helpful, provided us with a lot of useful tips where to eat, where to go, how to get there.. and on a top we had the most amazing breakfast!

Located right next to the beach, this is a great place to stay in Samana. The place is calm and has its own bar. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is one of the best I've seen, definitely worth it!

“Lovely Refuge with Ocean View”

Such a lovely place right next to the water. We had a beautiful room with a big terrace and ocean view. The rooms were very comfortable, especially the huge beds! It's so peaceful there. And the owner is the most accommodating host! He gave us lots of useful tips on what to do in the area. Also, the breakfast is amazing! Would most definitely stay there again! Thanks for everything :)

took premium room - well worth it- amazing bfast (huge portions, no need for lunch) served on my own terrasse with sea view and wild horses. lovely host. hike to froton, boca del diablo. even to the village for dinner! perfect location. quiet and chilled. i recommend

I definitely recommend staying here. Comfortable, clean, quiet, safe. Comfortable and huge bed. There is everything you need. The road is good to the hotel. We'll come again!
