The bungalow is very comfortable, clean, and offers plenty of storage space. It also features a lovely terrace, perfect for enjoying dinner, and a pool. The location is excellent, the town is easily accessible on foot, and the most beautiful beach we visited during our stay in the Dominican Republic, Playita, is also within easy reach. The hosts are really kind and welcoming. They kindly waited for us to check in even though we arrived after 6 pm, and they gave us lots of great tips on things to do in the area and restaurants to try.

The property is a beautiful, well maintained patch of paradise - we loved our stay here! The bungalow is spacious and immaculately clean, and gets cleaned (with new towels) every day. The towels are large and fluffy! There are five bungalows, and the property is very peaceful both within and the broader area - apart from the sounds of birds, there isn’t much noise which was very relaxing. The owners are so lovely and helpful, and are able to assist guests in Spanish, French or English. They helped us with finding where to rent a quad bike and how to get the bus to our next destination. The pool area is beautiful, it wasn’t the warmest weather when we were there but we still enjoyed it a couple of time. The owners kindly allow guests to store things in a fridge, which was great. The location is excellent, a short walk to both main beaches in the area, restaurants and shops. We would stay again if in the area - thank you Sylvia and Yveric :)

Great hosts, very pretty location with pool.

Fairly new property in very good and very clean condition (as per the pictures) located in-between the main beach of Las Galeras and La Playita (~10mn walk each). Very quiet at night, so good night sleep 100% assured. Super safe. Amazing hosts who made our stay memorable. Value for money. We would definitely stay there again. Las Galeras has been the highlight of our 2-week holiday.

The shared areas such as the garden and pool are very beautiful, well kept and peaceful. The room was very comfortable, clean and nice. Same for the bathroom. The hotel is very close to a gorgeous beach called La Playita. The best part of our stay was meeting the hosts, who are very welcoming and attentive to anything we may need. Would definitely recommend for others to stay here and would personally come back.

“Perfect relaxing place”

Very nice and helpfull hosts, beautiful garden, room and pool. They prepared us very delicious breakfast. Everything is cristal clear. This place is near beaches and main street. The name "Colibri" really means that there is a lot of birds!😍

The owners are super welcoming and friendly. The room has everything you need, is clean and is located in a nice, quiet area. The pool area is beautiful!

“Very nice stay”

Very warm and friendly hosts. Nice, clean and modern rooms. A very good shower with good water pressure and hot water (I mention this because this is not always the case in Dominican Republic). Nice atmospheric lights at the small pool.

“Oasis in Las Galeras”

The bungalows are located in a side road which is very quiet. Still the Main Street with a bank and lots of restaurants and shops is only a three minute walk away. Similarly the beaches of Las Galeras are easily reached by foot. We didn’t bring a car but there’s ample of secure parking available. The two hosts created a great atmosphere and a delicious breakfast which we enjoyed every day. They helped us out with everything; from arranging taxis to trips and giving useful tips. The pool and all amenities are kept exceptionally clean. One thing to consider when booking is that there’s no door between the bathroom and bedroom.

“Super!!”

The pool was super, with plenty of sun during the most of the day. The air conditioner was working perfectly, which is very important in this area. The property was very quiet taking into account that Dominican Republic can be noisy with all the motorbikes and music, we could sleep pretty well. The owners were so kind and helpful, really lovely couple.

Very helpful French hosts. Room was very clean, had lots of storage options and was quite new. 15 minutes by foot to both beaches in Las Galeras. Breakfast was nice (not included). The hotel is in a very quiet area.

“Excelent stay”

I had 4 great days in Bungalow Colibri. Sylvie and Yveric are very hospital and helpful people. They made such a great place to stay in the middle of Las Galeras. It’s close to shop, bank and 10-15 min walk from beach. I loved so much the room, the peaceful surroundings and swimming pool. Room was clean, spacious and look exactly like on the pictures. I had breakfast and it was delicious (I tried both versions). Great start for a day. Sylvie and her husband took a good care of me during my stay: they answered for all my questions and were available on phone. They know the neighbourhood well and can give you a great recommendations for trips and help with booking a tour. I recommend from the bottom of my heart to stay at Bungalow Colibri in Las Galeras! Beautiful property located in a quiet area, nice and big swimming pool, clean and modern rooms equipped with Air conditioning, while the owners are super helpful, welcomed us warmly and made breakfast for us last minute upon request. Highly recommended!
