Overview
Set a 20-minute walk from Larvik Train Station, Trudvang Gjestegaard offers free parking and rooms with free Wi-Fi access and a TV. Amfi Larvik Shopping Centre is 20 minutes’ walk away. All rooms at Trudvang have wooden floors and a private bathroom with shower. Some rooms overlook Lake Farris or Larvik Harbour. Other facilities included a bar. A buffet breakfast is available every morning. Norway’s largest beech forest, Bøkeskogen, is 250 metres from the inn. Torp Airport is a 15-minute drive away.

“Amazing special place to visit Larvik”
Amazing place with its special atmosphere! Comfortable. Good location (we were in Larvik for Faris bad). Very welcoming personal. Good breakfast.

“High end retreat just outside city center”
The hotel has a bit older, nostalgic look to it, the dignified outside appearance says it's the roomier higher end option just outside the small city center. Breakfast is very good, the room amazing with a beautiful view and the staff couldn't be nicer.

The personnel is exceptionally nice and friendly!! Location was good, close to the city, the harbor and the long-distance. You can easily explore the city, the harbor and the beach. Breakfast was OK, plain and simple. The room was very small. It seems that overall the hotel is beyond its peak time and could use a makeover. So I wouldn't have stayed longer than the one night to catch the ferry the other day. But for this occasion I might come back.

“Resort with an old worlds charm.”
Breakfast was okeish, it was not the best one I’ve had. The atmosphere was stunning which was created by the historical building and its rooms. Short walk from the centrum and lookout spot to the city.

Basic clean room. No hairdryer or kettle but had a fridge. Little wall out of town but in a beautiful location near a fjord Breakfast is great. Lots of choice hot and cold

“Amazing hotel with great service”
We arrived at 02.00 am and had to leave again at 8.00, so very short stay. Hotel organised for us to pick up key outside normal hours - which was mostly appreciated. Breakfast was lovely. The whole hotel looked like a plce you could stay for days - beautiful.

“Place like home!”
This is not a big luxurious hotel chain. It is a very modest comfortable establishment with friendly staff and an friendly old Dog. I loved the place. It was exactly what I needed. I could even help myself with a coffee and a cookie, free of charge.
