The location, the host, and the comfort

It is a very quiet and beautiful place to rest and the host is the best I have ever met. She bakes the most tasteful bread and cookies and helps you with any information you need. It was an excellent choice for our holiday.

Casa Rural is a beautiful retreat. It has been stylishly put together and offers a delicious breakfast. A 5 min drive into the village (you need a car) takes you to a delicious restaurant. From the village you can also get a 30minute bus into Bilbao for €2 (to save on city parking). Would recommend to access Bilbao but still soak up the Basque countryside.

Had a lovely breakfast, the accommodation was bright, comfortable and clean set in a lovely location. Lourdes was very warm and accommodating.

The whole house has beautiful interior, it’s 13 minute drive from the airport, the host Lourdes, is incredibly friendly and helpful, breakfast is delicious.

A beautiful house in a beautiful location. Lot of thought and care has been put in the decoration, both in the room and the rest of the house. A true pleasure for the eyes and senses. Very comfortable bed and bedding. To hear the river from the bedroom was a plus. Breakfast was a treat with different home baked breads and sweets every day.

Really beautiful green and natural location, very luxuous rooms. Good to have a car to explore the environment, bilbao and the coastline, and the restaurants nearby. The host is lovely and the breakfast too.

“Exceptionally peaceful and comfortable property”

The host was extremely nice and helpful regarding where to eat and general information about the area. Breakfast was perfect with homemade bread and pastries. Parking was available under cover. A very peaceful location with a stream running by the property which was the only sound from the balcony in the evening. Room were spacious with facilities for tea and coffee.

“Lovely rural stay near Bilbao”

The location was quiet and in a lovely rural area but not too rural that amenities were far away. I loved seeing the nearby farm animals and the view from our room of the owner's garden was lovely.

The place is super, super clean and the host is really taken care of you. You can ask her anything and she will be of service. It is a very nice location to visit Bilbao (it is a 20 minutes drive), have hikes in the country and go to the beach ( a 10 minutes drive).

Our host was excellent. She was very friendly, offering suggestions on where to eat, and provided us with a comfortable stay. I suggest future visitors include the breakfast - she bakes everything fresh each morning.

The location is stunning, the house is beautiful and everything is spotlessly clean. The host is wonderful and the breakfast is delicious. Our room and bathroom were very spacious. The view was amazing and we could hear the gentle sound of the stream. Absolutely recommend it.

A very nice location in a quiet hilly area. very nice and comfortable room, good bed and floor heating in the bathroom. heating works but was not necessary. beautiful common areas as well as a balking, patio and kitchen, and private parking. wry nice chat with the owner, thanks for the stay!

Lourdes was a consummate hostess and we couldn’t have enjoyed our experience there more than we did. It was a place of harmonious tranquillity that I will long remember and look forward to returning to. Lourdes also prepared amazing breakfasts with tasty breads that she herself baked! As a bonus it’s only about 25 mins to Bilbao and close to the ocean as well. In a few words, it was exceptional.

The breakfast was excellent with fresh bread made on the premises, choice of cooked eggs and fresh orange juice. The owner could not have been more friendly and helpful making restaurant reservations for us.

“Peaceful stay in rural tranquility”

Peaceful rural location 20 mins outside Bilbao. Comfortable clean room with en-suite bathroom (good shower over bath). Friendly owner, Lourdes, who spoke v good English, laid out fantastic breakfast with homemade bread, cakes and jam.
