Overview
This rural hotel with a heated indoor swimming pool is located in a pine forest just outside the town of Larraga. It offers wonderful mountain and forest views and free Wi-Fi throughout. Hotel Rural el Castillo’s rooms feature tiled floors and a small balcony. All include a TV, telephone and private bathroom, some with a spa bath. Good value hotel in Larraga with outstanding views from the bedroom- see photo. Breakfast as well as the evening meal were also great. Staff helpful too.

I love this little Hotel. In a great location, at the top of the village, with views all round. Comfy beds and the food in the restaurant was very tasty.

The view from this place is awesome. The staff were helpful and friendly. They also accommodated an early (for them) evening meal and an early breakfast. The room was a decent size and the balcony was a treat.

“Quiet, comfortable and convenient.”
The hotel is at the top of the hill and the rooms have good views over the town and countryside. It is very quiet and the bed was comfortable. We did not eat at the hotel, though we bought an excellent bottle of local wine from the bar. The hotel seems a nice place to stop on a long journey and we appreciated the peace and quiet. Larraga is a bit off the beaten track, but that's partially why we went there, and is very traditional with narrown winding streets in the old town. Finding the hotel without a satnav might be difficult.

“Maybe not our best experience on this trip”
The hotel is situated high above the town of Larraga which lies just off the main road. Air conned room with large balcony overlooking the surrounding country side. The meal we had in the evening was simple but good as was breakfast.

Staff were great, very friendly. We had an issue with one of our motorbikes, they helped with sorting the taxi and repair shop. Food is good, service is good. Highly recommend this place.

“Great place to stop when driving home from Spain to England”
Good location when traveling with dogs, right opposite a walk that is also lit up.. friendly staff and dogs allowed in bar/ restaurant
