Overview
Set in a charming 19th-century building, just 100 metres from the centre of Larnaca, the Alkisti features an intimate walled-in garden. Its rooms all have free WiFi access, while some of them offer balconies with views of the historic St. Lazarus Church. All rooms are conveniently fitted with overhead satellite TV, mosquito net and air conditioning. There is also a minibar and electric kettle for in-room drinks. Extras include free toiletries and a hairdryer. The windows feature typical blue Cypriot shutters. Guests can enjoy a Greek coffee on the charming garden terrace. The bus stop is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Larnaca Salt Lake is at a distance of 2.3 km. Free parking is available at the hotel.

The hotel is exceptionally clean, quiet, and perfectly located in the heart of Larnaca, just a short walk from the beach and all the main attractions. For Christians, it has an even more special significance. It is only a few steps away from the Tomb of Saint Lazarus, the beloved friend of Jesus whom He raised from the dead. According to the Gospel, Lazarus was among the people closest to Jesus, and visiting this sacred place was a deeply moving experience. I went every morning there. One of my happiest days to pray. I highly recommend this hotel, both for its excellent location and for the unique spiritual atmosphere of the area.

“Pleasant stay in a basic, slightly old-fashioned room right in the centre of Larnaca's old town”
Comfortable room with excellent WiFi and air conditioning. Very centrally situated in Larnaca's old town within 5 minutes walk of the beach and central market. Kettle and complimentary tea/ coffee provided. Fridge too, with a complimentary bottle of water. Nice touches. The hotel was mostly quiet, though some noise did percolate in from the street and main corridor at times. The staff were obliging and happily booked a taxi for me to the airport (20 Euros).
