We had a really enjoyable stay at the Las Ruedas. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and showed to our room by the lady on reception. Our room was lovely, spacious and exceptionally clean. It had all we needed too and was very comfortable. The hotel was beautifully furnished with lots of interesting things to enjoy looking at such as antique items and beautiful pictures on the walls. We enjoyed a drink in the bar and a good meal in the restaurant which had a lovely atmosphere with many locals using the bar too. All staff were friendly and welcoming despite their lack of English and our lack of Spanish, communication was friendly and good. We enjoyed a very good breakfast which had a good choice. We walked into town, the area, although pretty is not touristy but we had a good afternoon and evening there. We would stop at the hotel again if in the area.

Good for a stopover on the way to the ferry. Parking good. Beach nearby good. Breakfast ok.

The staff were extremely helpful even though I never met them in person - I arrived after check-in time as this was a last-minute booking. The staff arranged for me to get the key easily and drop it off in the morning. The bathroom was spacious and the room was big enough, too. The breakfast room, which I believe doubles as a restaurant, has lots of character. The breakfast has lots of variety.

Comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff (note: very little English spoken). Continental buffet breakfast with a good choice of fruit and pastries etc. Onsite restaurant with good quality food. Couple of other bars nearby that also serve food. Onsite parking. Bus stop nearby. We were there while the local festival was on in Laredo (The Battle of the Flowers) which was great!

Better than the 1 star hotel I was expecting. Room was clean and comfortable. Air con worked well. Breakfast was good - lots of choice, lots of little cakes and fruit. They catered for me being a coeliac and needing to be gluten free. Food in the restaurant was good quality but a bit pricey (a tourist trap ?) near the main roads sufficient parking for our motorbikes service was good from bar and restaurant staff.

They kindly let us store our bicycles inside.

Good location for travelling onwards, Bilbao 1 hour away, easy access. Parking at Metro easy and cheap. Good parking at the hotel. Friendly staff, neat and tidy hotel.

They kindly picked me up after walking 52km that day ( on the Camino) and no energy to walk the last 5km. I loved their in room bath and the breakfast was superb. I had a great nights sleeps . I feel they went the extra mile to help when i was broken . … thank you 👍
