“Not for cold weather stays.”

Romantic, quaint, olde worlde, artistic. These are qualities that I think most of the people writing reviews for this establishment value. It is, of course all of these things and the Maitre D is a charming, helpful and welcoming person. But in late December with no heating and no hot water and draughty windows? Not again for yours truly. Great in summer, I expect. And very good value. The area is picaresque and quite old.

The lovely hosts were so good, so welcoming, friendly and helpful to me, sorting through a situation, which was proving problematic with language challenges. Providing some tea, as well as inviting to their lunch meal, I can't thank them enough, and really enjoyed my stay there. Thank you ... 🙏🏻

“Old guest house in Larache”

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming guest house in Larache, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Mr. Hassan and Mrs. Fatima. Their hospitality made me feel right at home, as if I were part of their family The guest house is nestled in the heart of the old medina, surrounded by rich history and vibrant culture. The building has been in the family for four generations, and it truly feels like a living piece of Larache's heritage. Each corner of the house tells a story, and you can sense the depth of history that envelops you during your stay One of my favorite moments was gathering around the large communal table each morning for breakfast. The spread was delightful, featuring local delicacies, and it provided the perfect opportunity to share experiences and stories with fellow guests. It created a warm, communal atmosphere that I cherished Overall, my stay at this guest house was a heartwarming experience, blending comfort with a genuine sense of belonging. If you're looking for a place that offers a unique glimpse into Larache's history while making you feel at home, this guest house is the perfect choice

Al the coments talk very well about the owner. But no coments on the "hotel". The rooms are about 20 stairs up and the Services one more floor Up.

First of all the staff and the owner were very welcoming and very nice, the place was very clean everything was included, nice view on the rooftop, and what I liked most was the bed was sooooo comfy I canceled all the morning activities so i could sleep longer.

Historic building with a lot of character. Panoramic terrace. Parking available 10 minutes walk away. Excellent host, friendly, happy to explain about the town, he got in touch and was ready to answer any questions. Easy to find in the Medina.

Hassan and his family make you feel home. The house it is a charming old one full of nice things and plants.

“Homely stay in the middle of Larache”

From the beautiful green door, following up the winding staircase to be welcomed by Hassan and Fatima, we knew this was going to be a lovely place to stay. Right in the middle of the Medina, you’re seconds away from everything you would want to see or do in Larache. The room and en suite were spotlessly clean. Each morning we sat with our lovely hosts to eat a delicious breakfast over great conversation.

Beautiful old mansion and a great host

The host family welcomed us both as old friends , although we had never stayed there before. All the other guests were regular patrons of the guest house. The house was in the medina so a great authentic experience. The house had Been in the same ownership for hundreds of years. Well worth a visit.

There are many ways to find authenticity in Morocco... None of the ones I found had the same charme of this incredible house! The patina that shades each corner and object will enrich your experience. And let you feel part of a marvelous game as if you were visiting Larache 50 years ago. Hassan, born and raised in the house, takes the concept of Arabic hospitality to another level. Always up for sharing some memories, he will allow drawing an exact painting of when he and his sisters were running from room to room; participating to some grand dinners the family organized for the community; chilling in the terrace while playing with friends…

“Welcoming and historic home with great views.”

Definitely Hassan and Fatima are a highlight, very kind and welcoming, it feels like at home. The high rooftop is amazing with a 360 view of the town, the port and the ocean. The place was almost empty so I had almost like an appartment for myself which was nice.

Hassan has been the most nice and interesting host ever. It's not a hotel, it's just like staying in his home, listening to his stories, learning about the country and the culture. Thank you, Hassan, I'll come visit you again.
