I loved the atmosphere of the guest house. I really felt like home. Precious, the young lady at the front desk is very friendly, she asked about my day when I arrived back. I absolutely loved the bungalow.

“City oasis with to customer service”

The hostess was incredibly kind and the garden space was welcoming and homely. We had the roof bungalow which was such a little city oasis!

The location close to the airport is amazing!! But mostly because it has a giant garden that is so nice to hang out in ☺️ It was my second time staying here and in this area, you cannot beat this place!

We arrived very late at night because of our flight and an additional delay - we still enjoyed a quick check-in and finally reached our very very comfortable bed fast, which at that point was all we wanted. The staff was super friendly and nice and the stay was all we needed. It is located very close from the airport and very close to connecting buses in the city for your onward travel to other places. The interior of the room is very nice and modern and the bed is super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

My second time staying here. As always the owners and staff very friendly and accomodating making my stay like I am at home. I had fun explaining the difference between Australian and American accent, I had many good times having meals with everyone. There is so much connection here. The coffee shop Haru make amazing iced coffees, my fave is the spanish latte. If you stay here and get to experience Mama Evelyn’s cooking, it’s traditional filipino cuisine at its finest. Delicious. The garden is very relaxing and the resident dog Pancho will keep you company. Airport, markets and Mactan Newtown all walking distance. Otherwise you can order a motorbike or taxi. A city tour can also be organized. Whether it’s one night or 2 weeks i highly recommend Abihon Hoferhaus the place to connect, relax and recharge. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the price of the rooms are very affordable. I will surely be back.

If you are looking for more than just a hotel this is your place. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was abundant, mumma Evelyn and Judy, as well as the other staff were attentive and went above and beyond. It genuinely felt like we were welcomed into a family. It was such a unique and touching experience to be invited to join them for dinner and breakfast and be shown an authentic side of the Philippines. The warmth and generosity of the hosts made our stay unforgettable. Our room was lovely and comfortable, the air conditioning was perfect, and the entire place was impeccably clean. This place feels like magic. This isn't just a place to sleep—it's an experience that will stay with you for the rest of your life. If we are to ever return back to the Phillipines, it would be because of the Abihon HoferHaus and the beautiful energy and people it brings. Thank you having us! ❤️
