Overview
Located in the heart of Arcachon Bay on the water front, Villa la Tosca reflects the Arcachon early 20th-century architecture style. Overlooking Arcachon and Cap Ferret, the villa’s garden and park offer an outdoor ecological swimming pool. Free WiFi is available in the Villa. Villa la Tosca rooms feature a flat-screen TV and come with ensuite bathrooms, hairdryer and toilet. In all room, guests will find a bath robe, slippers and free toiletries. Breakfast is served in the dining room viewing Arcachon Bay and consists of hot drinks, pastries, bread, juice, dairy produce, cereals and fruits. At an extra cost, a private chef is available upon request. With additional costs, multiple services can be provided such as limousine and helicopter services and well-being massages. Biganos Train Station is located 20 km from the Villa, while Bordeaux-Merignac Airport is a 40 minute drive away. Free parking is possible on site.

“A peaceful slice of heaven”
Where do I start! The house and its grounds are just beautiful and every inch has been thoughtfully decorated with the addition of carefully curated artwork, ornaments and lighting. Arrival was very smooth and we were shown around the villa and then to our room. We stayed in Le Vue which is right at the top of the house and so benefits from having 4 walls of magnificent windows. The room was light and airy and from the bed you could look out on to the bay and see the ebb and flow of the tide (I highly recommend spend the night with all the blinds up and the doors open to witness the sunrise and to listen to the waves and the hypnotising frog chorus) The hotel has an amazingly well equip kitchen that guests are welcome to use to cook their own food (or a chef can be provided on request) There is also an honesty policy so you can help your self to drinks and just tally what you have had. There is a comfy lounge area and my favourite a dark and cosy library with laddered shelf’s. The garden has a natural pool, sauna and sunbathing areas and a sweet little gate leads straight out on to the beach. I highly recommend heading to the beach and walking left to the old port where you will happen across the cutest fishing shack style restaurant which serves up amazing food. The lads there were super friendly and spoke great English. Nothing is too much trouble for Karin and her team and they really do encourage you to treat villa Tosca as a home from home. We will definitely be heading back.

Beautiful building with lovely rooms and excellent facilities. Option to cook. We thought the setting was glorious and the chorus of bullfrogs astounding - a real wildlife experience ! A very friendly welcome from, I think, Ines.

- fantastic interior design! Eg great parkett, State of the Art bathroom, jacousie, fireplace, candles - great view over the bassin - amazing breakfast with local products - huge rooms and very calm - even made a gift for our Honeymoon which was very nice!

This sea-view room located on the ground floor features tall French windows directly opening onto to the loggia and the garden. The luxurious spacious bathroom, especially equipped for guests with reduced mobility, has a large walk-in shower and Philippe Starck designed fittings and a magnifying mirror. There is a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a fan, as well as a complementary basket with fruit and chocolates.

This 2nd or 3rd floor room offers panoramic views over the sea and pine trees. There is a large sea view bathroom with a bath-with-a-view, walk-in shower and luxury Philippe Starck designed fittings, as well as a magnifying mirror.
