Everything is Good.

The apartment is exactly as it appears in the pictures. The landlord was always helping and answering all our questions and needs. It is well connected by bus to MSU and Meridian Mall. We stayed in August there and i t was always quiet.

This apartment is: -- not for the winter period, -- not for people who have sensible sleep, -- in poor conditions in general. The host is very far from being a friendly person. It was extremely cold on the weekend, so I asked the host to turn up the heating. But the host answered that everything is done according to the codes, and this is a budget apartment, and accused me of lie. I had to call Booking.com customer service to help me with this. The problem is that the codes don't help as the front door is not closing properly, and cold air from outside flows constantly into the apartment. The front door is also one of the reasons for the noise. The apartment is just next to a heavy-traffic street, so all the noise you can hear everywhere in the apartment. There is no balcony in the apartment, and there is only one pot (in bad condition, see photo) and one pan for cooking. In one of the photos the host provided, you see a kettle, but it is not in the apartment. When I asked the host whether he could bring me one so I could make a tee, the host told me if I wanted a kettle, I could buy it in one of the stores in Lansing. The contact phone number provided by the host was newer reachable and was always directed to a mailbox. The same was reported by one of the representatives of Booking.com customer service when they tried to reach the host. When I asked the host to fix all the issues, he told me the apartment is to the codes, and that in the USA people do it differently than in Germany. Such a bad excuse, the poor guy didn't know that I visit the USA quite frequently. :-∂ The only good thing is lots of space, and but stop just next to the door.
