“Great base for discovering west side of Saguenay Fjord r”
Comfortable room and bed, great staff, able to get laundry done, excellent kitchen, shop nearby, fun to watch the ice hockey match in the bar.

A convenient and comfortable room. Common kitchen was spotless and very well equipped. The adjoining pub was open for the locals to watch an ice hockey play off and as visitors we were warmly welcomed.

Location is great! You have a restaurant right there, a grocery store right in front and even another restaurant, that opens super early, 1 minute away. Also super clean and common spaces are great

Really helpful - good communication about checking in and arrival time etc. Really friendly staff. Arranged for a late arrival so we could access the room after the office had closed.

The staff is great. The location to the sageunay park is very convenient. The rooms and bathrooms are old but it's still value for money and it's clean. The common kitchen is also easy to use.

“We had a comfortable stay at Auberge Jeunesse Camp de Base.”
This updated little 1960s era motel is so cute - I loved the vibe! The staff member whom we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. For a small fee, we were able to use the laundry facilities. The fan is the room helped keep us comfortable, as it was a very hot day/evening! We were also able to use the shared kitchen, and although the restaurant was not open for meals on the day we were there, the decor made it feel very cozy and inviting!

“I will back again soon, with some experience instructions”
Amazing place to share with a group of friends or family. Excellent location to visit the fiordos and the whales. The purple in the town is very friendly. I recommend to take your food to cook there. It has a great completed mini market (same place to the gas station) in front of this hostel. It is not opened 24 hrs. The coffee must be paid cash.

Nice hostel with double rooms with private bathroom. Everything clean and ok. Very nice the bar area in which you can eat or drink local beers.

Amazing place if you plan on hiking or visiting the Fjord-du-Saguenay. The staff is extremely friendly, food and drinks offerings were great, and we were able to do our laundry for a small fee.

It is very strange with booking. You look for a bed. You have eg a price of 45 cad. You check another hostel and after 10 min the prices go up. This one was after 10 min 10 cad more.
