The property is by the river and the views are amazing. The room, the sheets and the towels were super clean. The bed and pillows were really comfy and new! In the property there’s also breakfast and dinner and they were delicious and not expensive at all. Yet, the highlight is the couple who runs it. They are super kind and helpful with great vibes and energy. One night it was raining heavily and there was no electricity but they still managed to serve us the best food. Will definitely recommend it!

“A beautiful stay by the river.”

The lodge was perfectly placed and even though it was going through a refurbishment, the place was very accessible and plenty of areas to use. The area next to the river was lovely to relax in and watch the birds. There are also some nice dogs here too. The food was excellent, especially the panqueques and we ate here everyday. The owners were very friendly and helpful and sorted out our Semuc Champey tour and shuttle back to Guatemala City. A beautiful place.

Very good, relaxed and quiet place, with a garden next to the river bank perfect for hanging out. The staff is very friendly and the place is very good value.

The lodge is located right next to a river and has a lot of seating areas and hammocks where you can relax. The staff is very nice, even though they don't speak much English. They helped us book shuttles and picked us up at the shuttle drop off in Lanquin on our arrival day.

Such a pretty place to stay. It is near the town of Lanquin (10-20 Min walk to the centre of the town).

I loved the chill area by the river, could have spent there some more days. The cabins with private bathroom was simple but comfortable and spacious.

The location by the river is amazing! It’s a short walk up hill to town/places to eat, but worth it for the peaceful spot and great views! The hammocks are lovely to chill in. The owners are such a lovely friendly family, and even though they don’t speak much English they are super helpful and make a lot of effort to make you feel welcome. They are also extremely helpful over message before we arrived and helped us book a cheap shuttle from Flores (175Q each) and answered so many of our questions very quickly. They also helped us get great transport from the bus station (10Q each) and tuk tuk to semuc champey (25Q each) and the drivers were so friendly. We booked a room with a private bathroom and it was comfy and spacious, and the shower pressure was good (but very cold!). The breakfast was sooo good and pretty cheap for what you get (37Q for a full typical breakfast with coffee) - we had it every day and the accommodated our early starts. Overall loved our stay and would definitely recommend!
