“Nice place to chill after a long tour day!”

Everyone was super friendly, the view of the pool was amazing, the food ist great and the have a nice terrace for playing pool or your own games! The rooms are basic but all you need!

A great place to stay as base for semuc champney visit. A bit quieter than the nearby Zephy lodge which attracts a younger crowd. But nice pool with view, great food, enjoyed table football and hammocks in the communal area. Good bird life in the garden. And they met us at bus terminal on arrival and arranged onward travel to Rio Dulce. Thank you

I stay in the dorm it’s really clean . And also swimming pool is nice . The location is good , not that far from town like 15 minutes walk. That means you can have food in the town. Cos it’s quite expensive in the hostel restaurant.

I liked it here and would reccomend it. It has everything you need . Staff are super friendly.

Pleasant location

“Paradise on a budget”

We were here during a cooler period, luckily we could get some extra blankets. Shared showers are warm if you don’t open the faucet completely. The place is a little paradise. Not far from the village which is nice and authentic. Not many insects. Wi-Fi in the restaurant better than expected. So quiet at night.

The staff were all so welcoming and lovely. I ended up extending my stay - the wifi worked better than a previous hostel and there is a pool table and other activities. The bar and kitchen also stay open a lot later The food is really good with big portions. Its not a party hostel which means you get good sleep and it is also a good way to meet people through pool etc There's also a pool.up the top with a great view

“It is a chill hostel with good pool and view”

The room was super spacious, which made the stay very comfortable. Although it’s not the most modern, it’s still a good option if you don’t mind a more traditional style. The food was good overall. There is a nice shared space with games and a pool table. It wasn’t very social during our stay because there weren’t many guests, but it definitely has potential with more people. The pool was nice and clean. We had booked a tour to Semuc before arriving, and due to rain they were flexible in changing the tour to another day and to a different type of tour.

Be careful, there is a lady who calls herself Rosalia, walking around and scamming visitors with 20x (!!) prices for chocolate and stuff

Remote, quiet, spacious. The swimmingpool is nice and the fact that there’s hardly anyone to be seen too after a long ride and the crowds in the cities. I saw a hummingbird at breakfast. There are many birds, butterflies and small animals that are interesting to watch. Mosquito nets surrounding the bed in bamboo huts provide shelter.

Amazing place with great views and great facilities, we loved the pool table and bar as well. Food and drinks were reasonably prices, good portions and very Tasty. We did a really nice private Tour with them to semuc champey We were just surprised that it was very empty. Could be a really social hostel like greengos but for half the price. It just needs you people ;)

Our stay at Vista Verde in Lanquín was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. A huge thank you to Susana, who went above and beyond by finding and posting a lost toy monkey all the way to Lake Atitlán – such a kind and thoughtful gesture we’ll never forget. The food was lovely – everything on the menu was fresh and full of flavor. The pool was another highlight, offering stunning views and the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. They also made organizing tours and transfers so easy, which made our trip smooth and stress-free. Vista Verde is more than just a place to stay – it’s a warm, memorable experience. Highly recommended!

The location, style and layout of the hostel was great. The pool was a bonus after a hot day at Semuc Champey.
