“It made me feel like I was at home”

I cannot rate this property highly enough. Firstly - it has AC. And you will need it!! Secondly, the owners are lovely. Finally, the room was spotless and the bed linen smelt so fresh it reminded me of home so cannot thank the owners enough for my stay!! Breakfast is well worth the money also.

my room was quite big and very clean, so was the bathroom. There is a big table in the room and two small ones, so there's enough space to put all your belongings. You can order a tasty breakfast, ask to arrange a tour or a shuttle. Very nicely arranged greenery at the backyard

“Good stay in Lanquin”

Room was basic but everything was very clean. Did not need the airco because it was quite fresh when I visited Lanquin. Very friendly and helpful staff, free fill of waterbottles, hot shower, good value breakfast (not included the price), good wifi working inside the room. The owner brought me to the busstation to get my shuttle.

The service was outstanding, the rooms were comfy and clean.

The breakfast was great and freshly made. They assisted with booking tours and shuttles.

Rooms are Clean and shower has hot water. You can order some beverages at the reception and also breakfast. Tour to cave and Semuc Chapin can be ordered there, even for the next day. Tour ist much more cheap than the ones you can book online.

“Pleasant stay in Lanquin”

Nice charming hotel with quiet surroundings. Big room and toilet with hot water. Spacious garden and hammock. Chair to sit outside and possibility to dry the clothes. All was clean and impecable. They also help in getting tours and transfers to other cities. Helped me book semuc champey and also bus to flores. Amazing hosts

The room was a good size and had both a fan and air conditioning, though the AC comes at an extra cost. The bathroom was decent in size, with strong hot water. Outside the room there’s a small seating area, which is a pleasant spot to relax after a long day. There’s no fridge in the room, but when we asked, the staff kindly let us use some space in their kitchen fridge. The hotel is located right on the main road, so expect early traffic noise along with the usual chickens and dogs—earplugs are useful here. It’s a small town, and you can walk into the centre in just a few minutes, though it’s slightly uphill. Breakfast was not included in our rate, but the menu offered a good variety.

More of a roadside motel. Despite the booking advertisement stating that AC is included, it is not. Upon arrival the hotel tries to make you pay an additional fee of 100Q a night to get the remote. Located next to a big shed that does local parties on Saturday night. Music blasting until 1AM. Staff aren't very helpful regarding information about the hotel/neighbourhood/activities they sell. They give you a key and leave you to yourself. Booked a Semuc Champey tour via the hotel. Received precisely zero information on what to bring/expect.

“Comfortable for 1-2 nights max”

- Basic room with comfortable bed. - Bathroom area was spacious with free shampoo. - Has a rack to hang some clothes - Has a standing fan which kept the air flowing. - Breakfast was delicious. I got the tipico breakfast and the bread and eggs in particular was really nice. - I booked the Semuc Champey tour through them and it was a great day!
