Beautiful buildings in a lovely location, by the river. Everything was very clean, the staff were amazing, food was good. They offered trips to Semuc Champey, or transport only, with no pressure to buy. It was only a few minutes walk to the small village of Lanquin, where there were a few shops etc.

The staff particularly the lady with 4 children were excellent

I liked the hotel’s location beside a beautiful river, which made the surroundings very peaceful. The free pickup at the bus station was also appreciated. There was one staff member who spoke English, and he was very helpful. It was also convenient that the hotel was only about a 10-minute walk to the main road, where there’s a great restaurant across the street, and the little town of Lanquín is nearby if you need a store.

The location next to the river was great. The tour to Semuc Champy organised by the hostal was amazing and fun.

The view from the restaurant is amazing and very claming, the perices are reasonable. I liked the the room has single beds in it.

The location and the resort itself is fantastic. It's very chilled and there are plenty of spaces to spend time. I stayed a week so appreciated the pools, the deck on the river and the restaurant space, the restaurant staff were friendly.

I really liked the location by the river, and away from the tourist hustle of the rest of the lower part of Lanquin. Our cottage was simple but cozy. We enjoyed the outdoor hammock in the evening

“Beautiful river hostel”

Beautiful hostel right at the river, I could spend days chilling at the hostel grounds. Also nice to be in a dorm but without bunk beds. There is many showers and toilets, so you barely ever have to wait. The tours they offer were nice and staff was friendly and it is all Guatemalan run.

Staff were super helpful, friendly and fun. Beautiful location with pool and access to the river flowing past. Plenty of space in rooms, and beautiful communal areas. Felt very safe and organised.
