I was looking for a location where we could leave the rented car and just walk. I found it here and much more besides. This is such a unique, tranquil place, set in the hills and overlooking the town of Lanjaron. There were trails everywhere so this was perfect for us. The views are amazing and the facilities include 2 swimming pools, 1 with natural water. Given the recent temperatures we used the natural pool a lot. The town is accessible on foot and only a 5-10 minute walk down hill and maybe 15 on the way back up a very steep hill. There are enough restaurants and a decent grocery store where we got all we needed. Lina, the host, was very friendly and helpful with hiking suggestions. She also provided us with tomatoes, avocado and fruit all grown on the property. I would love to return again and have no hesitation recommending to others.

“Magical”

A magical place indeed, one of a kind in a spectacular setting. Sort of funky artist retreat with wonderful sculpture and eccentric objects dotted around the property. Unfortunately we only had one night as it was a taster trip for the Alpujarras but the kind of place you could spend a week at and really relax. Water flows everywhere and you fall asleep to the sound of running water. Lots of great touches everywhere. Lina was great and picked us up from the bus stop, let us check in early and leave our bags there so we had a good two days walking. The trails are exceptionally well marked and spectacular. Many days walking here. Without a car some careful planning is needed as it's a 20 minute walk to the restaurants, although the start of the walk is down through the trees by a stream. Highly recommended and will return for a longer stay.

Very friendly, helpful owner. Such a unique place to stay. Very quirky. The setting was stunning. A pleasant walk thought the woods, past trickling streams into the town. I loved the generous outdoor space. Really good value for money.

It was a perfect location to stay with my dog. I loved the self contained accomodation and the views were fantastic.

The location is exceptional, a calm mountain cottage, with the owner's home nearby and the sound of water everywhere on the property, sooo relaxing and perfectly maintained. The hosts Lina and Paco are very friendly and helpful, providing vegetables from their garden and collecting my shopping from the supermarket in town, giving us lifts into town and collecting us with our bags on the first and last day of our stay. The metal bird sculptures are wonderful, peeking out from everywhere on the property and the town is amazing.....thanks so much we had a very relaxing break

it was absolutely private, we saw the host at arrival. She explained the 'room' to us, brought us fresh avocado's and eggs from her garden and we were left by ourselves.

Very friendly family run establishment. Location is surrounded by orchard with lots of fruits trees and on a high ground with nice cool air and scenery. Accessibility is narrow and steep but owner lead us into the property without problem. We especially like its relaxing vibe and artistic decorations. We were also treated with yummy fruits and free range eggs by the owner.

Where do I start?? The property was so much fun! Lots to do for my toddler she absolutely loved the trampoline and swimming pool and just exploring the property as did we. We loved the private roof area just for adults so we could sit and have a drink at night (while my parents watched the kids!). Lena the owner was incredible so friendly and helpful. She made the holiday honestly and we can't wait to go back. Villa was lovely and clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable holiday!

we had such an amazing trip. the house was perfecto, had everything we needed, was a nice walk into town, comfy, cosy and Lina was so friendly and helpful! the outside space was so lovely in the sun! right on the doorstep was the running trails!
