Nice and private, centrally located and clean. Host was very helpful and accommodating.

Welcoming owner and a lovely room with spectacular views. Breakfast was good and well presented. Location is pretty good and backing on to the town walls. Parking is tight but off street.

The location is wonderful, seconds away from the town's main road and centre, with enough amenities for a stop over or a break, not too touristy and very traditionally French. The owner is great and her passion for hospitality is evident in the many small touches around the property and the personalised breakfast with local produce that tasted fantastic. From the friendly welcome, to the happy goodbye this experience was wonderful. The location is perfect, on the towns ramparts with great views over the town wall to open countryside and a large lake. The room was sumptuous, well decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast had been crafted with care and was delicious. Our host took great care to make sure our stay was really enjoyable and was interesting and a pleasure to talk to. We will return....

“A hidden gem well worth exploring”

Being from 'young' Australia we prefer staying in older, more historical accommodation than modern facilities, and Le Belvedere des Remparts didn't disappoint. As an added bonus, our host Eglys was extremely generous in helping me improve my French at breakfast. The close proximity to the ramparts was ideal and thankfully the weather allowed us to circumnavigate them every day for all 5 x days of our stay. A visit to Crousti'Chaud after completing the loop is highly recommended! Admittedly it's not the Dordogne, but nonetheless we found it a fascinating and picturesque corner of France to explore.

Excellent host, hotel full of character 👌

Very central

We had a lovely couple of nights here. The host was excellent, really helpful. She personally served our really good breakfast to our table. We parked on the property and it was a bit of a tight squeeze. Free parking was available just outside at the side of the property. Very convenient for the town centre, although we were there Sunday and Monday, so the majority of shops were closed. Something to bear in mind if only there for a few days. would definitely stay again on our return home to the UK.
