The property was super well located, being only a 10-minute drive to the coast. Comfy rooms, amazing breakfasts, and helpful staff made our stay at Costa Trasmiera perfect.

“Lovely rural location”

The hotel is in a rural location among farms, which was a lovely change from being in a city. The room was quite large and the bathroom was good. There was no aircon, but the windows opened wide letting in the breeze. The wifi worked well. There was a restaurant with walking distance, or a 10 minute drive into Somo with lots of restaurants and cafes. The beaches were close by.

Great location for our Camino route. Great dinner at Wayve nearby. Breakfast in the garden was wonderful for 6 euro each. Rooms incredibly clean.

Lovely guest house in beautiful surroundings with a wonderful garden to read and relax overlooking fabulous views. The breakfast was incredible - beautifully set tables outdoors and plenty of options of delicious sweet and savoury dishes. Amazing value. The family who run the guest house were so friendly and welcoming, even with our very limited Spanish. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The room was very comfortable and very clean .We had a delicious breakfast with homemade cakes , omelettes and specialities from the region . There is a wonderful view from the terrace . The beach is fabulous and wild with a cliff walk. You can have a nice meal in Wayve's restaurant .

Everything was exceptional. The location was a super quiet and serene place, beautiful garden to sit and have breakfast (which was amazing by the way, the home made tortilla and cheesecake were fantastic). The rooms were super clear and the beds were made every day. The owner was really nice and helpful and gave us good advice on things to do around the area. There are restaurants a short drive away, the beach is at walking distance and the ferry from Somo is really convenient to visit Santander.

Great Hotel, good location with several beaches in walking or short drive distance and easy access to Santander with the ferry from Somo. Rooms are very nice, comfortable beds , and hotel was very quite. The breakfast for 5 Euro is just amazing! fresh orange juice, fruit, several types of cheese and other tarts, sandwiches, different tortillas,.....
