“A great find!”

What a great find. You need to check in at the guesthouse nextdoor, i think its called the Farmhouse, that took us a bit of figuring out because the email wasn't clear. Once we realised that it was all brilliant. The check in person was warm and friendly and walked us to our accomodation, unlocked for us and explained where things were, she was super helpful and friwndly. We were very lucky to get one of the 3 places that ha e a shared garden area, delightful with deck chairs, braai, and slightly quirky design. This overlooks the lagoon with great views. The container accomodation was bright and clean, good quality white linen, great layout so it felt spacious, half an hour of generator during loadshedding at 10pm which was helpful to get my phone charged. The loos and showers are very clean, with white hand towels and soap, cleaned daily. All in all a great experience for a really low rate. Thank you! PS. Definately take a walk along the boardwalk infront of the property towards Sharks Bay, the views are stunning.

Location is wonderful. Close to running/ biking trails. Near Shark Bay. Great spots for swimming and any other activity you might want to do.

“Perfect”

Perfect, exactly what I needed.

This is a great spot if you're just popping in solo or with a friend and looking for a place to leave your belongings and cool your beers while you explore. The room has everything you need to live comfortably for a few days, the toilets and shower cubicles are clean and you have a view of the lagoon on your doorstep. Location is excellent as you are a five-minute drive from either the waterfront area with a variety of eateries that are extremely well priced, or the entrance to the National Park. Will definitely be my go-to spot to stay when I visit that side again.

“Great value for money”

Incredible value for money! The cabins are basic but clean, spacious and pretty well equipped with cooking facilities and a fridge. The communal shower and toilet facilities are also good. A decent location slightly out of town but with a great view. The restaurant at the Farmhouse next door was also excellent and the staff were all friendly and polite.

“Fantastic stay”

Convenient to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas. Not far from the West Coast National Park, and the West Coast Fossil Park. Paternoster, St. Helina, Velddrif, Saldana and other interesting places are not far. Safe parking and clean and tidy, well maintained. Staff was friendly. Lovely views. In the early morning, the mist rolls in.

The backpackers are unique and comfortable.. it’s got all the essentials.. though the wifi didn’t work but everything else was really nice.

“Stunning get-away gem”

Everything was exactly as the photos showed. It was compact yet comfortable. I really enjoyed the view, and was able to relax under the shaded grass area. The fact that the excellent hotel restaurant, bar and swimming pool were just next door was an extra bonus.

The container pod was a novelty that I liked. It was comfortable and adequate. The ablution was also neat clean and a pleasure to use.

The restaurant and owners service at the farmhouse restaurant was exceptional, the chefs food was amazing and well worth a visit. Friendly staff! The location and facilities well worth the price tag. Take along extra blankets in the winter.
