Absolutely fantastic place / area, 5 mins in the car from town, lovely and quiet secluded, if its a peaceful break you want then this the place. We added an extra night as soon as we got here.!!

Amazing place, well decorated and equipped. The chalet has great outdoor facilities, making it a great retreat for a summer holiday. Walking to Landsberg is a bit of a trek, but well doable and a very pittoresk track. Pascale and Michael are lovely and will go a long way to welcome you and make your stay as joyful as can be.

“Charming cottage”

The apartment had everything you could need but also had some special features. For example, the antique dresser that was part of the owners great great great grandmothers dowry. The host, Michael was extremely helpful with information about where to eat, shop and visit.

We had a wonderful week in the apartment despite the rainy weather. The location is very convenient — within an hour you can reach Munich and many other places, including Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Oberammergau. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay: cozy bedrooms with large beds and comfortable mattresses, an excellent shower, and a well-equipped kitchen. We truly felt at home. A special thanks to the hosts for their valuable tips about the area and their warm hospitality. They even brought us pastries as an apology for the bad weather! Our family travels a lot across Europe by car, and this is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Once again, thank you Pascale and Michael!

Host Family Schindl super friendly , from the first contact with mrs. Pascale and the warm welcome from mr Michael. Check in super fast check out even faster. A beautiful chalet in a wonderful surrounding called Hexenhaus full of charm. Beautiful decorated with some furniture with history. We had a wonderful stay, enjoyed every minute , it felt as home . The hosts thought about every detail to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We hope we will be back 🩷

“Perfect hospitality”

The location whilst further away from Landsberg than we expected was lovely - especially the surrounding countryside. Michael and Pascal were wonderful hosts - welcoming us and settling us in on arrival and giving us a wealth of tips and suggestions for what to do and where to go. We were also given a welcome drink on arrival, fresh eggs and one morning a delivery of fresh warm pretzels and rolls…wonderful! The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Landsberg is a beautiful town and we loved wandering around discovering the small shops, cafes and restaurants.

“Unique village-stay in picturesque Bavarian countryside in a cozy appartment”

Absolutely loved this unique accommodation! Amazing balance between history and modernism- most pieces inside the apartment harvested from an old farm, however bathrooms and kitchen are freshly renovated with some unique elements and heated natural stone floors. The host was super friendly and provided us with tons of advice and information on what/how/when to do around. Felt like an amazing touch - even the printed info sheets were personalised for us. Location-wise it’s amazing for long walks, village stroll and forest rides. Our dog was also warmly welcomed, so we wont hesitate to bring him over again :)

Beautifully restored and renovated with great attention paid to every detail. Spacious and very well equipped. Lovely outlook from the decks and garden - perfect for a sunset drink. Michael is a wonderful host who provided us with English version personal recommendations on best local restaurants.

Perfect. The photos of the property do not do it justice at all. It's a gorgeous place with extremely accommodating hosts. Privacy is their mantra. However they are there if you want advice. We were so private in our place with our outdoor patio. For us, everything was as you would hope, but seldom get.
