Kenneth the host was very welcoming and friendly, lovely accommodation, great breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed not having television and the range of games available in the games room. The lounge area is beautiful and the house and garden is stunning.

The house was wonderfully clean, and the presentation was amazing. The fresh roses in the room were a very special touch. The trip was for my mother's birthday. The three yellow roses beautifully displayed in our room reminded us of my maternal grandmother as they were her favorite. The owner was so friendly, charming, and humorous, definitely making the stay feel like home or a happy visit to a relative. The breakfast was wonderful and we couldn't help but go for seconds of the delicious eggs. The location is highly versatile and convenient. Depending on which route you take, you could feel completely in a tranquil escape from the busy life. And yet another route will show you you're surprisingly less than five minutes from the vibrant city. All in all, we can't wait for our next visit.

Breakfast was not as described, VERY limited options. Towels not changed, bed not made. It describes a cookie tray always available: it’s 4 cookies (at best) on a plate tucked away in the corner of the breakfast area. Questionable that table linens were washed/changed daily. For the price, absolutely not worth it.

Room and decor are exceptionally beautiful, makes you feel in the late 19th to early 20th century, movie like environment. Breakfast was great, the omelet with vegetables and cheese was a morning treat. As well as the many sitting places on the ground floor which support friendly engagement with other guests.

What we really liked is the total experience, you can use the veranda, the games room, the library and the living room next to your own room. It feels very homey. And you can, if you want, also make contact with the other guests. We ourselves had good contact with the new owner, he really makes you feel at home and makes a delicious breakfast

I loved the history of the house and that this feeling has been complemented by the decor of the house. There is a beautiful outdoor space that you can enjoy as well as the rooms downstairs. The breakfast was delicious

What a gem! Delightful classic home to spend a day or more relaxing in the country. We had a Tesla and super appreciated the charger! However, the atmosphere is the greatest reason to stay here. The main living area is a visual delight. I tapped on the piano a bit. We were alone in the house. The breakfast was a great start to the day, along with coffee. For dinner, it was a quick trip into Lancaster for a delightful dining experience. Our host had a great recommendation list. The tree covered hill setting with an outdoor porch set the tone for the experience. Thanks.

Spend time in a 19th century mansion. Everything nice and lovingly decorated. Incredible breakfast. A 10 is not enough.

Excellent egg soufflé and croissants were fresh made. Excellent selection of coffee, biscotti, fruit, pastries, and delicious treats. Personal touch provided for each of us.
