Lancaster Arts features original works of art, especially creations by local artists, in the lobby and all guestrooms. All rooms are completely smoke-free and offer amenities such as 330 thread-count Egyptian sheets, designer toiletries, flat-screen TVs and iPod docking stations. John J. Jeffries, Lancaster Arts Hotel's on-site restaurant, is named for a tobacco inspector from the 1890s. The restaurant strives to support local farms and organic ingredients. Specialty items from the menu include locally made cheeses and locally raised buffalo.

Good location with walk into town. Covered parking. Comfortable clean room, very nice bathroom. Friendly staff. Very noisy aircon unit. Small double bed. There was some noise from other guests at night.

“A joy!”
This hotel was a delight and we enjoyed the 'arts' theme that runs throughout the hotel. The room was compact but well planned. The wardrobe revealed not only a coffee tray but fluffy bathrobes. And after going out for dinner at a lovely nearby restaurant, Lombardo's, we returned to find a rose and chocolates on the bed. What a lovely surprise. We were on a trip to the US which involved staying at 13 hotels over three weeks and this was one of my favourites. Another bonus was the car park was covered and adjacent.

Lovely hotel in a good location for walk to restaurants Short drive to main downtown. Clean and nice character. Good parking. Breakfast was a bit basic but good enough. All in all a lovely stay.

Interesting deco and do not disturb signs. Location was great and beds were super comfy. Best sleeps of my travel.

“A ‘different’ hotel. Good value”
There was a artsy feel about the hotel which we liked. Each room was decorated differently. Good hotel restaurant, other restaurants within walking distance. Free hotel parking. Good value for price. We would definitely recommend.

“A little expensive for a hotel not in the centre of Lancaster but comfortable.”
Hotel is well located, within walking distance of the centre of Lancaster and about 20 mins walk from Lancaster Amtrak station. Facilities were good and bed extremely comfortable. Staff were very helpful particularly the woman on reception when I checked in.
