Overview
Located in a beautiful green park, La Butte aux Bois a Small Luxury Hotel of the World is a stylish hotel from 1924 with luxurious rooms and an elegant restaurant at the entrance of National Park Hoge Kempen. This former castle includes a state-of-the art wellness centre with a swimming pool, a sauna and a whirlpool. These are free to use for guests. Facial treatments and massages are also available at an additional cost. Hotel rooms are beautifully decorated in an English country style. Some rooms have original Hästens beds for guest to spend a comfortable night. The gastronomic restaurant, Ralf Berendsen, offers elegant cuisine in the dining room or on the garden terrace. Ralf Berendsen has been rewarded with two Michelin stars and was rated 18 out of 20 by Gault & Millau. Opening hours: For Lunch: Friday to Saturday arrival between 12h00 - 14h00 For Dinner: Tuesday to Saturday arrival between 18h30 - 21h00 De Bistrôt Le Ciel by Chef Pieter Beurskens serves internationally infused French-Belgian cuisines, translated into dishes that are accommodating and surprising. The transparent interior features a wealth of decorative objects. Really enjoyed our stay, spent the afternoon relaxing in the spa, enjoyed a lovely dinner. We stayed in a Villa Room. It's a short walk from the main building.

“The perfect place for a re-energizing weekend”
It's, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been at. The decoration is super rich with details, but surprisingly well balanced, creating an almost magical atmosphere. Huge congratulations to the design/decoration team. The breakfast was magnificent, we've dinned twice at the Bistro and were very pleased with both the food and the service (and the quite interesting wine list). The room was quite big, with a very confortable bed. We are doomed to return to your company soon :)
