I felt that we were treated more as an off-season inconvenience than valued hotel guests. Before our arrival, the hotel messaged us and asked us to contact the property when we arrived. We reached the area in the morning and walked to the property, but there was no sign or indication that it was the correct building, so we had to guess based on the photos online. The doors were locked, and although we understood that early check-in might not be possible, we had hoped to at least leave our luggage and have breakfast. We called the number provided and were told to wait on the main street for the person looking after the guests. Three hours later, after countless phone calls and repeated promises that they would arrive “in 30 minutes,” we eventually found the front door open ourselves. The property itself is nicely decorated, and our room was spacious. However, it felt as though it hadn’t been used for some time, so it didn’t feel particularly fresh. Breakfast was simple but delicious. On our last evening, we asked if it would be possible to have an early breakfast the following morning. The caretaker didn’t seem very keen on the request. Even when I suggested that just toast and coffee would be enough, he continued to encourage us to come later instead. In the end, we said not to worry and decided to leave earlier. It was therefore disappointing to see him sitting outside on his phone when we departed. Overall, it was a rather disappointing experience, mainly due to the lack of hospitality and poor communication.

“A curious place to stay”

I love how clean everywhere was,the breakfast was amazing..my room was spacious and so fine ..I love the architectural work and it was so airy… Mosquitoes anyways used me as food😂😂 Moses was really helpful ,the property was at the center and very easy to locate! Loved my time in Lamuuuuu,great people

Moses is so helpful and kind!! The whole setting of the house is brilliant : the rooftop terrace with views of the ocean; the refreshing breakfasts; the cool coral stone steps and walls; the ylang ylang scent on the way to our room; the different levelled roof terraces; the shaded courtyards and natural bright light throughout the house.

A truly beautiful building, with a comfortable room and a very nice bed! The common areas are also lovely. The breakfast was very good and Moses makes sure to take care of everyone.
