My sister and I really enjoyed our time here. The staff were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. The property is also very well maintained and clean. Great wifi if you have to do some work or study while there as well. Overall 10/10

The whole structure is incredibly well curated and beautiful and totally in harmony with the island. We had such a peaceful time! Beautiful pools, beautiful lounge.. Just the perfect place really.

Beautiful property, you can see that a great architect designed it. Attention to detail, antique furniture, exceptional styling. And an excellent massage on offer by Lisa- don't miss it, it will let you forget everything around you.

“Stay here, it’s amazing, like a piece of history!”
Stunning property in the heart of Lamu. Halfway between a hotel and a museum. Everything tasteful and beautiful. The restaurant is also lovely with a tree in the middle, the food is great and the staff are superhelpful.

Had lovely room overlooking the seafront with a fab balcony to sit on and watch the world go by. Nice pool and good restaurant, lovely staff.

I loved my room - very spacious, large bed and bath, clean and visually stunning. AMAZING view from both my bed and balcomy. I stayed in one of the bigger rooms for reference. I loved the staff - Everyone was so lovely, friendly and helpful. Adored them all. I loved the breakfast - I'm now obsessed with Swahilli breakfasts! I loved the hotel's aesthetics - stunning archictecture and interior design I loved the location in Lamu - very central and easy to get to. Such a great choice overall. Couldn't be more pleased with my stay! I'll be back!

“We enjoyed this hotel as ris set in”
Breakfast was as expected as in any 3 star hotel. The location was excellent. Very traditional to the environment it is set in.
