The room I got at janataan was sub par and I cancelled the booking but I was transferred to Shela White House Near the beach hassle free The mango juice was awesome The service guy Safari/ safiri was ready to help plus the tall guy (name has slipped my mind) that helped with the bags when we got to Shela I had left the water bottle and the ensured it was delivered to the airport 🙂

The room I got at janataan was sub par and I cancelled the booking but I was transferred to Shela White House Near the beach hassle free The mango juice was awesome The service guy Safari/ safiri was ready to help plus the tall guy (name has slipped my mind) that helped with the bags when we got to Shela I had left the water bottle and the ensured it was delivered to the airport 🙂

“Good for a budget stay.”
The pool provided good relief from the heat. The triple rooms are spacious. They contacted me the day before to ask if I needed an airport transfer, then arranged the transfer. The coffee and juices for breakfast are good.

“Great budget option, super close to the beach”
Great cheaper option in Shela, perfect location just a few minutes walk to the beach. The room was clean and had a fan for the heat, and there is a nice pool. Staff were helpful and friendly, the continental breakfast was okay, they offered a Swahili option for the second day but I unfortunately had to leave early before trying but I would recommend asking for that if you're interested. Overall I think it was a great option for the price, and I would stay again :)

the place is pleasant and has a good quality/price ratio. the staff is kind and participative. I would have given a few more stars if it weren't for the fact that at the previous checkout I left a charger in the room and when I returned after some time I didn't find it. they alleged that too much time had passed and that no one knew anything about it. this must not happen in a worthy and honest hotel. in a good hotel if a guest leaves even an underpant I expect to find it safe even after a year. I hope this review is teaching.

Very very friendly staff, the Hotel was beautiful designed and the breakfast that Benson made every morning was perfect. I would definitely recommend Jannataan Hotel.
