This stylish hotel is located in the quiet Numedal Valley, 20 km outside Kongsberg. It offers comfortable rooms with modern, tiled bathrooms. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and free parking. “A Pleasant Country Hotel”
This is a very attractive country hotel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beds in our twin room were very comfortable and the bathroom worked well. Parking was easy and the breakfast was excellent.

Extremely friendly staff showing genuine interest in visitors. Food in the restaurant was amazing they also have a cafe if you don't want the restaurant. Beds were very comfy leading to good nights sleep.

“Great value. You should stay.”
The staff were friendly. The room was spacious and very modern. Really comfortable and plush common spaces. Just a really nice place. Car parking easy.

“Not great for dogs and a bit too pricey, but an awesome breakfast”
Breakfast was really good. Several different kinds of baked goods, fresh bread, yoghurt, fruit, jams, smoked salmon, a crepe station, etc. There were also gluten free options and free tea/coffee all day. The room was spacious with comfortable beds. The shower was also big. Everything was clean (though there were a couple of old stains on the sheet hidden under the pillow).

Clean, modern and comfortable. Very happy with the service. Breakfast was extensive. There was a big party on but it didn’t really disturb us.

Visted Oct 23 - Loved the location (like a New England village), great rooms and relaxing lounge, wonderful restaurant, cute coffee shop, lovely friendly staff and great gift shop. Will definitely come back in the future!

We got a room on the top floor, very stuffy, no air conditioning. There is no lift. The pillows are not comfortable. Except for all of the above, everything was fine.

Tastefully decorated & not “cheap” looking feel. Nice a la cart menu and decent choice for house wines. There was need to tell the hotel if you wanted a la cart so they set up a Table - fairly smooth sailing. Dinner we had was very good. The bedroom was comfortable with excellent bed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. There a small peaceful looking play area for kids behind the hotel. Next door there is cafe and so there is food and drink availability even after hours - convenient and choices for all!

“Good one night stay”
Great beautiful hotel conveniently located for us on our way to Oslo airport. Very clean. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Good breakfast. It also had a cafe next door.

“Great stay for family with 3-year old”
Cozy hotel and well located for a short family stay with toddler. Ski slopes in the immediate vicinity and an adjacent swimming pool with sauna was very welcoming after skiing. The restaurant had a good selection with some classic Norwegian dishes and several options for children. Breakfast was good, but it could have offered some more hot options. We got an upgrade to a family room with a sofa bed for our child due to some confusion about a request made for a large bed where we had gotten two singles instead. This was a nice gesture. All in all, we were happy with our stay and can recommend this hotel. :-)
