We originally came to Lampang for 4 days, but we like it here so much, that we extended our stay. 😊 Hug Lampang Hotel is great: - staff is kind and helpful, they do speak some basic English. - rooms are big and bright and are cleaned everyday (daily fresh towels, toilet paper and bottled water), - balcony is a nice addition if you have to dry some synthetic clothes, which are not allowed to go into the dryer (I recommend some drying strings for other customers - I always have mine on me when i travel). - their free bicycles for customers are awesome, we used them almost everyday (it is easy to get around the city, just remember to drive on the left side of the road) - the road noise stops in the evening at around 10 PM and is very quiet till 7 or 8 AM, so you can get a good night's sleep.

The building is old but very well-maintained. The rooms are extremely spacious, with comfortable beds, air conditioning, and towels and water supplied daily. The hotel is conveniently located near the town center. The front desk staff, especially Boas, were always friendly and helpful. There are some nearby places to eat, making it convenient for daily needs.

“Hugs for Hug Lampang”

The lady on reception is very welcoming and helpful, she sent me to the most wonderful massage centre I never would have found. There is free tea, coffee and hot chocolate on the foyer. Our room number 1 was large, clean and had a small partially covered balcony. The big rain shower wasn't operational but the smaller one was fine. The bed was big and Thai firm, the air con worked fine too.

Very friendly & professional staff, cool & modern facilities, bedroom was large, comfortable & clean, excellent WiFi connection, safe location & interesting ambiance! Excellent value for money!! I would strongly recommend this accommodation -- I've travelled all over Thailand & this has been one of the best.

Good location and nice room

“A wonderful stay at HUGLAMPANG BOUTIQUE HOTEL”

Although the hotel was a bit dated and without an elevator, the staff's assistance and care really made up for the two limitations, e.g. the staff carried my luggage up to my room (on the second floor). Also, the location was very central (although the car had to use another road to get to the hotel and it wasn't put in the Google Map) but very quiet and near a few nice restaurants, e.g. Salad Boy (highly recommended for clean foods). The room I stayed in was spacious with a nice balcony that I could do my readings on. The bathroom was good: hot water came fast and it was strong, too. Finally, there was a little space for parking that my friend appreciated in front of the hotel. PS: Forgot to mention they had bikes to borrow--for FREE! But I didn't use them since my friend's got a car.

Great location.. comfortable, clean, big room.. staff spoke little English but very friendly n helpful, free brand new bicycles for customer to use and.24 hours coffee/tea with biscuits added to the every cent you spend. If an electrical kettle was provided in the room I would definitely give it a perfect 10! Highly recommended.
