“Good for a night stay but wouldn’t recommend longer”

For a one night stay, the Hotel was fine but I wouldn’t want to stay any longer. The room was modern and clean but very small. The restaurant was excellent for evening meal but quite a poor breakfast offering, although adequate, (however, this is quite normal for France as breakfast never seems to be a big deal for them). Good for a one night stay either heading North or South.

Having stayed at the hotel previously we were very disappointed to arrive and be told we would have to eat evening meal in our bedroom as there was no staff to run dining room. On finding bedroom has only a bed and no facilities to eat a meal we insisted on eating in the bar and the meal option was just a salad, no starter and no other choice of meal. We can only suggest anyone thinking of staying at hotel in near future, unless solely there for the room only, makes sure FULL restaurant facilities are available or the stay is rather spoilt. On a further note we have been served a bigger and better salad in our local tapas bar for just 7€ not the Tatin charge more that 3 times greater. Although generally hotel is ok until it gets back to full facilities we will not go back.

Lovely building. We had a room situated on 2nd floor which was spacious. Large comfortable bed and lovely shower room.

We loved the friendly reception, the food (evening meal and breakfast), the choice of drinks, the location with regards the motorway (less than 5km away) making it a great stop-off for an onward journey, and the tarte tatin of course....

“Relaxing stay at Maison Tatin”

Large very clean room on 2nd floor. Very welcoming staff and plenty of free private parking. Very good meal, particularly the starter and the dessert (tarte tatin!) Breakfast had many and various options, ham, cheese, croissants cake, bacon and egg, cereals, yoghurt, etc. All very fresh and flavoursome. Also wide variety of hot drinks. This is the second time we have stayed here en route to north and will stay again.

We have stayed there a few times before because of a convenient location and a good restaurant. The location is still good, but the restaurant was closed. There is little positive to say. What was a nice place to stay en route to and from our house down south has been transformed into a place we certainly won't be going back to.

Nice classic and modern style hotel where all staff is very helpfull. We enjoyed diner in the restaurant with well trained staff. They where very nice to our dog. The spa was also good.

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing both inside and out as are the grounds. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Even though we directly faced the main road and train station our room was wonderfully quiet due to the windows in the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom was very clean. The grounds were nice to walk on with our dog and nice and clean too. There was ample parking and the car park felt nice and secure as well. The hotel is in a good location for the motorway.
