“Great Stay in a great location - would recommend!!!”
We wanted a remote, quiet location that offered some peaceful downtime - Gites le Mathelin delivered all of that in spades. The location and facilities were brilliant - we arrive mid September and missed the really how weather but we were still able to get out and see the area and then retreat to the gite in the evening. The hosts introduced themselves to us on the first day and then just left us to it - they explained where they were if we needed them. The property was nice and clean and a great place to just sit and read. Would certainly book again if we are in the area. Thank you for a great stay!

“A beautiful family holiday sampling a real taste of French life. Memories we will treasure forever.”
We loved everything about our stay and are so grateful to Bas and Marieke for welcoming us and our 2 sons and our (sometimes noisy) dog. It was such a memorable holiday for us. The gite itself is beautiful with lovely outside space at both the front and back of the property. The swimming pool is amazing and the gardens are perfect for young children with trampoline, table tennis and space to play football. The sunsets are the most amazing I have ever seen and I loved walking our dog along the path through the vineyard to watch them. We loved visiting Saint Emilion and taking the train through the vineyards there, Les Jardins de Sardy and Lac de Gurson. We can't wait to return again in the future.

“Lovely accommodation in the midst of vineyards.”
What a lovely stay we had here! The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. The accomodation had everything you would ever need. Was close to shops and restaurants in the area. Just an hours drive to the city, but close to the vineyards, other villages and St Emillion. Thank you Bastian.

excellent host and very friendly, the property overlooks vineyards and the garden is fantastic if you have dogs as it secluded.
