Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Good options. Lunch was plentiful and tasty with good options. Dinner was very good. Lots of options to choose from. Drinks were included. The staff were excellent. The coffee ceremony and the bonfire were a nice touch. The scenery was beautiful.

The staff were so hospitable. Generally Ethiopians are very helpful, but I found the staff at Panoramic View Hotel to be lively and happy. The food was absolutely fantastic. I was even given a gift on arrival of a beautiful scarf with Ethiopia’s colours embroidered on. The tour organised by the hotel was perfect. Abay, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He helped me to purchase some trinkets at a fair value and accommodated my request to view the Churches at sunset and sunrise.

Panoramic View Hotel Lalibela has a great location and superb views! The rooms are clean, and the food and service are excellent. The highlight of my stay was definitely my private tour with Mequanint — the best tour guide in Lalibela! He showed me around the 11 rock-hewn churches in just two hours — a new Guinness World Record in the 8th Wonders of the World! I strongly recommend both the hotel and Mequanint as a guide if you visit Lalibela (Ethiopia).

Great location, wonderful staff, excellent food, comfortable rooms. Even on Christmas Eve a bonfire and Christmas tree were prepared for us.We particularly fond memories of our guide, Mekuanint, who accompanied us for almost three days. He showed great knowledge and cordiality. He will remain in our hearts forever.

Best view, amazing rooftop and friendliest staff. Abel and the team for the restaurant are so kind and flexible! The rooms are great and spacious, with big bathrooms and great showers. It is very cozy to have our own balcony. We only wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the unique rooftop more!

“Excellent. Love to stay again.”
The most important thing were for me the security. I felt so safe . 24hours security service. The room is super clean. Everything works. Electricity never been a problem. They have a backup Generator system, friendly staff. Tasty breakfast which is local and international food. The hotel is located to the famous rock hewn church of Lalibela and to the town centre. I was appointed a guide and he speaks very good English and has a good knowledge of the Church.

Great place and wonderful view. extraordinary location, all room have a private balcony facing the wonderful view of the beautiful lalibela. the hotel restaurant service is great.
