The property is beautiful , clean , well located , the bed was so comfortable , they have hot shower and the view from the room is BREATHTAKING. The best view of my life ( and I’ve been to 57 countries so imagine ! ) Great value for your money … if it were anywhere else in the world that hotel could charge at least 10 times more ! All The staff were absolutely lovely and they all made my staying so much more easier and comfortable . I felt safe as a female solo traveler and would recommend big time !

My stay at Halle was great! My room was clean, spacious, quiet, and had a phenomenal sunset view. The bed was very comfortable as well. I travelled solo to Lalibela and this hotel felt very safe. The hotel manager Belay was very responsive to all my questions/concerns and helped me with everything I needed during my stay from walking me to where I wanted to go to lending me an electrical adapter. The hotel itself is around 5-7 minute tuk tuk ride from the churches (so rather close but away from the town center so it’s quiet and peaceful). I would definitely stay here again!

It is a family run hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It is spotlessly clean and in a perfect location with magnificent views. It is quiet and peaceful.

“beautiful views. friendly staff!”
the property was fab! we had a lovely room with an awesome balcony with amazing views. the staff were so friendly and helpful. h town currently has limited power and water. the staff made sure the generator was on for a few hours before bed (and checked what time we would be back from dinner) so we could charge our phones and cameras!
