Overview
Set in the village of L’Aldea, the 19th-century Mas Masdeu is 5 km from Amposta in the Ebro Delta Nature Reserve. Rustic air-conditioned rooms offer garden views and some have disability access. Featuring stone walls, rooms have a sofa, TV and wardrobe. They are also heated and have a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. There is a restaurant and barbecue facilities. A free Wi-Fi zone is offered and there is free parking. The tour desk offers information on the nature reserve and tours of L’Aldea’s Guaita Tower. Dels Ports Nature Reserve is also a short drive away.

“Hidden gem”
it is real rural place with nature, eco and all that. The difference is that the couple who runs it ( lovely people ) do treat it as normal ...and not as something special, unusual etc. One of the best experiences I have had

Very traditional Spanish with lovely hosts. Traditional Spanish evening meal, wine and beer supplied by hosts at a reasonable price. Great dog friendly accommodation - a number of other guests also had dogs. Quiet location. Air-con in room.

“Simply perfect & good value”
Perfectly dog friendly, especially during a heat wave so we could exercise our dog in the gardens. Dogs welcome in the restaurant. Lovely rustic room with terrace & delicious food in the restaurant

“Excellent place for an overnight stop .”
Friendly and relaxed place to stay . Very helpful and spoke good English. Dinner available, no menu, just the choice of meat or fish which was fine. Very reasonably priced .

“An Enjoyable eveing at Mas Masdeu”
We had a a spacious well appointed room which provided a comfortable stay. The hosts are friendly and amenable and speak excellent english. Evening meal was cooked specially for us and was very good.. We were very happy with our night's stay.

The owners were warm, friendly and thoughtful clearly taking a pride in what they did. Delicious homecooked food for breakfast and evening meal. Lovely rural setting, very quiet, perfect for exploring the Delta. Spacious, comfortable room with 2 sofas. Excellent value for money
