Araluen Park cottages are amazing! Close to but really away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy Lakes Entrance, they are ideal for a peaceful stay among the nature. Hosts are amazing! Peter is such a gentleman and Marie is really an artist! Rooms are big, beautiful, and comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked. Hosts arranged ingredients for breakfast, which was great. Because these cottages are nestled among the nature, it is easy to spot many birds, prominent among those are King Parrots and Crimson Rosella. With a bit of patience and observation, you can spot several birds. We were lucky to see a wombat as well. The resident alpacas were friendly. It is a lovely quiet place, so it was nice not to have WiFi and limited mobile reception. On a hot day, we did not mind being just there the whole day. We are sure to visit again.

We really enjoyed how cozy and peaceful the whole cottage was and because of it we slept really well every day! We appreciated the plenty of animals as well which was adorable to see. The alpacas were definitely a highlight for sure, really fun to feed them!

A beautiful bush setting surrounded by parrots and birds of all varieties; very peaceful; a lovely spot within 5 minutes drive of Lakes Entrance. The best of both worlds. A special thank you to Peter who accommodated my special needs with pleasure.

Cottage has every convenience you need. Very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay and Peter was accommodating to any request. Highly recommend.

The cottage was delightfully decorated with old-world charm. The location beside the forest provided a calm and serene environment. The bed was comfy, the kitchen well provisioned.
