“Really enjoyable place across the road from Lake Toya”

It’s very spacious for 2 people. Loved the location across from the lake. The owner met us at arrival and was very nice and explained places to go. He speaks some English and was easy to understand. It has everything you need for a holiday. We went for a hike to explore the ruins of the Mount Usu eruption which was interesting.

A charming house with a most beautiful lake view just across the road

Great service from the owner. He took care to ensure our check in and out were smooth. Came to check that we're fine after check in (and gave us complimentary fruits) and also ensure his staff helped cleared the pathway and the car of snow the day we checked out as it snowed overnight.

Everything was amazing, Ohno also came in the morning to know us in person and was very nice to chat with him a bit. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting the magical Lake Toya 😍

We drove to Toya Lake from the Chitose Airport. For tourists by driving, this could be a best choice for 4 to 6 group. by preparing some favorite food in advance, we enjoyed a DIY dinner happily. In the morning we took a half-an-hour walk along the lakeside which we accessed easily from the house. Quiet, beautiful and peaceful. The only pity is that we only took one night stay. I hope to stay longer when we visit Toya Lake next time.

It is an entire house with views to Toya lake, only 10-15 minutes walking distance to Toya onsen. The owner was super nice and picked us up from the bus station and drove us the next day to Toya train station.

Although it’s an old building but amenities are all there. Rather spacious bedrooms despite the small exterior outlook, for the price we paid it was acceptable. Convenient location for restaurants roughly 2-6 mins away if you are driving.

The location and the host is very nice and even have us each some Royce chocolate as snack. Gave us alot of useful guide and advice for the town and recommendation for dinning.

Wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Lovely views over Lake Toya and an easy stroll into the town. The host was friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

Liked its location. Away from the main town but close enough. It's right across from the park where there are sculptures and if you want, you can take a nice walk into town along the lake. Host was friendly. He dropped by to say hi.

Well heated, had a laundry machine. No drier but easily dried by heater. Host was very responsive and attentive. I liked that it was two bedrooms with good privacy.

“Wonderful peaceful stay”

We love the warm hospitality by the owner to come to brief us about our stay and nearby attractions. The futon was comfortable and huge. Comfy sleep. Toilet and bathroom are clean. Kitchen is user friendly. Just that there are some bugs around. But not to worry as they do not bite. The view was fantastic when you open the door, it faces the lake. The town is just less than 10mins drive. There's a 711 there and the fireworks can be viewed from the dock.
